I've only talked to him once outside of class, to elaborate on something I said about his story, which had a ton of description in some parts that was too much, and I said "I know you probably do that cause of D&D though," We didn't talk after that though and I don't think he knows / cares that I play.
The dude seems wicked nice, I looked him up on Facebook because I'm a creep. For some reason I want to play RPGs with a dude in his 40s, my first ever experience with D&D was my dad DMing for me, and I play with my dad's friends who are a ton of grognards.
