What is the best vaporizer and why?

 No.1148

Arizer Solo.
$130 on ebay, uses a lot less than others, blows clouds if you want that, gets you gosh darn diddly high, doesn't eat batteries like the Wooden Jew Box with a Simple Circuit, doesn't combust like the shit ecig ripoffs and pen "vapes".
Theres your answer. Now go buy one you nigga.

I have a firefox vaporizer and a pax and the firefly is way better. Just used it to get high a bit ago act.

I haven't used the Arizer solo, but I'm sure it's better as far as battery life goes, battery dies pretty quick on the Firefly but as someone who likes to vape at home it's essentially a non problem for me.

this man speaks the truth, I got one 5 months ago, and its pretty great

only thing is, vaporizer high is much less body, and more head than bong hits or a joint, so it lasts a lot less longer, and it raises your overall tolerance too

thats what I've noticed at least

There isn't really any "best vaporizer", just how much you're willing to spend on what kind of function you need it to do.

If you are looking for good desktop vapes, I'd recommend trying a log type like the Silver Surfer or something like the Life Saber Vaporizer.

AS far as handhelds go, I'm not too sure. I've heard good things about the pax ploom and the solo, and the Magic Flight Launch box is pretty all right until you realize that it's not a very efficient vape compared to some others. I'd recommend going on fuck combustion forums to get an idea or two.

Yep.

And that $130 will get you free shipping and a nice quality aluminum grinder if you look around at a few listings.

If you have some brass/steel/whatever screens, take two of them, put one in the stem along the bottom lining it (there's a built in glass screen but the holes are a fair bit too big for how fine you want to grind your shit up). Take the other one, trim a bit off the edges, dome it with a sharpie, and get it to fit in pretty nice (with the inside of the dome facing towards the other screen).

Pack the shit inside of the domed bit, if you want you can pack more on top and around the dome.

It makes the weed heat more evenly, disperses it nicely so that it lasts longer and you don't have to use as much heat (RE: battery power) to get as much flavor and potency out of it.

The arizer's nice because it's pretty pick up and go, but you can fiddle with it like I mentioned to get more kick out of it. The temp is pretty easy to manage, 1-7, 4 or 5 is usually the sweet spot (but depending on the specific model can vary). Just suck on it like you would suck on a milkshake.

The one major con to it is the bowl is pretty tiny, especially if you do the screen thing I mentioned. It's about a .2g bowl all said. You get your bang for your buck, but with a 10 minute vape session = one bowl, you'll be hard pressed to stretch it between more than three people without packing it several times.

Also worth mentioning the bowl'd be a pain in the ass for any medical patients with joint problems, but I don't think that's 8chan's main crowd.

Pic related, just took it with my stem to show you what I mean about the bent screen. Its effectiveness really can't be downplayed. Changed the vape from a "once in a while" to being my go-to without company over.

An addendum: The Arizer is marketed as a "portable vape", but unless you're in a relaxed neighborhood, don't think of that as "sitting on a park bench" as much as "wandering around the house". The stems are glass and by design of the product come lose easily, and can vary by person on fragility (mine have survived a few falls, but I've heard people say things both ways). I live in a pretty chill area and sometimes will take it on a walk to use in a secluded area, or will use it in the car, but from closer than 15 feet or so away, it won't pass for a can of soda anymore.

This guy is right. I have an MFLB (Wooden Jew Box?), but that's because I have it for stealth and I've had it for two years and still does the job great. I would upgrade to something else, but really don't see the need to.

I recommend the Arizer Solo because a friend of mine bought it over the holidays and the thing is a beast. Everything he said is true including >>1197

Also, when vaping; the more finely you grind your weed, the better the hit. Shits efficient yo

how is it?

i want to get a vape to be pretty discreet and not smell as much, but it looks like it just burns the stuff and makes just as much smoke as a pipe

I personally own a Vapir NO2 and have used a friend's MLFB. I prefer my NO2 since it's super efficient and you can control temperatures, but I do admire the MLFB for it's many add-ons and its super discrete size.
