My sympathies, always hated breaking a piece.
I can personally vouch for Bent Glass and Liquid Glass. Both of those brands have kept me going for almost a year now with absolutely no problems.
My Bent (pic related) is the smoothest hitting thing I've ever used. I can fill it up as thick as possible and it never bothers my throat when I pull.
