Am I the only one who finds weed to taste and smell really gross? I have to spit after every toke and drink a large quantity of water through the session so I don't throw up. I really love getting high, I just hate the taste. does anyone else have this problem? Is there any way I can prevent/fix this? I know there are things you can take to alter your taste buds…maybe brush teeth before hand? suggestions please

How are you smoking it OP?

If it's through glass, clean it thoroughly. If that's not the case and you just really don't like the taste of weed I would suggest rolling a spliff. Normally the tobacco will help mask the taste and smell of weed but other than that I afraid you're SOL. Sorry bro.

I smoked out of a nice water pipe for a while, never came closer to throwing up. Then I switched to a baby pipe and its not as bad but I still have to spit every inhale. I'll try the spliff idea if I ever get any papers. I thought that I would just get used to it and start liking the taste like everyone else but I guess not…

It can happen. I used to have a hard time taking large bong rips with warm water. Now I always put cold water and use ice cubes for my piece but that's just me.

I also used to hate the smell though it never made me nauseous or anything. Let me know if you ever try the spliff idea, hope you find something that works.

You need some sort of air-tight container. It doesn't even have to be completely air tight, I use the box from my old iphone 4. a good way to test weather something is air-tight is by putting water in it and seeing if it leaks, if it leakes, its not air tight, if it doesn't it's air-tight.

If you can get past the idea of it, hot water can be amazing. The steam pretty much coats your throat, you won't feel a thing.

you can! I used to when I first started smoking but it was just way too much of a hassle to undo baggie after baggie and then put it back baggie after baggie

the tea container works pretty well, i usually use a medicine bottle inside the tea container though to be sure.

and you need a lot of baggies for that to work, i have my tobacco pipe inside 4 bags and you can still smell it

I'll have to try this. Any recommendation as to the temperature? Will it still cool the smoke down since it's going through water first?
