Question is, where does one start? I have no idea how or where to find dealers, and even if I found them how do I approach, how do I know its not a police trap, how do I tell the different types, whats good whats bad and whats the fair price. I am as knowledgeable on this subject as an old geezer at a high-tech store.

The only person I know for a fact is smoking is just some guy I met at a random party which I happened to have had a few common courses with (not anymore) and asking him to hook me up will be strange.

Israel has a pretty good police system so that could be a little difficult. Basically what you need to do is go around a bad neighborhood and look for people standing in a sidewalk outside of a building or gas station. Walk up to them and say "sup nigga u got any tree?" and tell them how much you want to spend.

However, asking that guy for a hookup really isn't too out of the ordinary and I'm sure he would give you his plug.

Also, funny story. I found out after smoking a ton on 4/20 that my dealer's Puerto Rican buddy is really an undercover DEA agent. I'd been around him a few times and I've smoked out with him before, but then he tells me "you know I'm a DEA agent, right?" He pointed to a black impala that had someone staking out the location, but he said me and my dealer were cool since he goes after pounds but not ounces. So thanks Obama for not federally busting individual users. It scared the shit out of me though.

Holy fuck. It really makes me question everyone I have ever smoked with. It also makes me question our legal system. "Pounds are bad, but ounces are ok because I have no fucking idea"

I know man. The disillusionment is real. It made me think that the government here in the US is really sometimes run like the mafia more than I thought. I'm guessing that this guy is shaking down my dealer so he can stay under what he calls his "Federal Protection." I guess the thing about pounds and ounces is more a difference between federal and local enforcement. The county I live in has a lot of Mexican drug cartel influence going on here, so I'm not surprised that this is the place where I found an undercover DEA agent.
