I know some people get pleasure from destroying life, but I don't think that's healthy. This is my opinion and I have no right to impose it on others, but I do have the right to have opinions. I wouldn't ban hunting just because I don't like it.
Basically I feel the same for hunting and smoking: I don't practice it, but it's OK for others to do it and not share my opinion, and I specially dislike it when kids do it and I don't think parents should encourage their kids to learn the pleasure of either activity.
The world is full of wonderful things kids could be discovering, so I really see no need to teach them to enjoy killing. Sex, for example. Teach them the pleasure of sex.
