If you like 2d fighting games you might wanna give the Blazblue games a go on pc, psp and ps3.

Here's an image of a ps3 version of one of the games. I like the anime style mixed with the 2d retro feel (plays a bit like soul calibur meets street fighter 2)

I feel like I've been playing too many FPSs lately. What are some good 2D platformers for PC? All I currently have is SMB and I didn't enjoy it very much.

I love Indie development games some of my favorites are, Braid, Limbo, Super Meat Boy, Bastion and Freedom Planet.

I love 2D and sprite art because it was a refresher from all modern day games. I'm not trying to sound like a hipster, I only want to show my appreciation for 2D games. May the indie market grow bigger and stronger.

Totally agree, back then games were a art, now it's just 3d scan everything, add a physics engine, release.

I loved the SNES one of the best consoles ever and still one I go back to even after all this time.

One of my all time favorite SNES games is Super Metroid, the art is fantastic, the soundtrack is just perfect and the story is from start to finish sublime.

Not to mention there is something about Samus (Just look at the pictures and see for yourself)

So whats your favorite SNES game?
