Since most of the userbase doesn't play the video games here that would boil down the possible choices to waifu/fetish/lewd threads that would be proceeded to be imagedumped by waggykike and thus wont generate any real discussions.
Or non touhou threads like umineko and fate that attracted the infamous shikiposter and a high dose of cancer and autism.
Any attempt at discussing touhou games will only meet a scare number of replies as you could undoubtedly see it in effect numerous times

No such thing, especially with the kind of inexperienced userbase we have here. Hillariously whenever we actually get inquires from the new touhou players wandering in those threads take hours to get responded to and will only amount to 1-4 replies overall.

That would imply there is something to engage about, there is nothing to discuss in a circlejerk like good night threads, its sole function exists to say good morning and good night, maybe an anon will post their daily feels and some other anons will circlejerk about feeling sorry for him and then the discussion ends with that chain.
Aside the good night threads the only thing we can engage about anymore are meta threads, which likewise boil down to the fact that the site sucks, /2hu/ and 8chan are both going to die and we circlejerk about how we have nowhere to go for a few posts and be done with it.

There was only one netplay thread that was ever successful (for about barely 2 weeks only mind you) and that was literally in the earliest of days. Trying to establish netplays as a habit after has failed spectacularly

Pretty much everyone is already aware of /2hu/, we were in the top 20 plenty of times and our peak user base was around 158 not to mention we are/were featured on both /a/ and /v/ its safe to say that most of the userbase is aware of the board, and that is actually a bad thing
For they don't have good opinions of us at all, the site wide sentiment is that its one of the shittiest boards on 8chan that is filled with redditors completely devoid of irony or humour and that its a sad excuse for a touhou board. (And they are right)
9 out of 10 times anons on other boards will shit on /2hu/ and rightfully so.

About 2-3 months ago I posted on how I would quit posting and cease producing content for /2hu/, I didn't lie. I was one of the few actually productive members of this community and besides posting about how /2hu/ is dying and discussing on why its dying, I haven't made any post or content in the past 2-3 months just as I promised.
I stated that if /2hu/ can't keep itself alive without my effort then its just better of dying.
I am disappointed to see that none of you could resurrect this board or take my place.
But at this point its too late either way, not even I would be able to resurrect a board so deep into the downfall.
Just let it die or start fresh with a new board.
