Being playable doesn't equate you to being a main character.

Otherwise going by that same logic everyone in Phantasmagoria of Flower View and Phantasmagoria of Dim Dream would be a main character.

Reimu and Marisa have always been the only main characters of touhou.

The only one that comes close to a 3rd main character is Sakuya due to having the third most appearances as a playable character.
