Any animatorfags here? I'm a beginner (literally started two days ago) and I'm having some trouble with a project of mine. Basically all I need to do is have this robot arm pick up a ball. I have the arm animated, but I don't know how to make the ball stay in the grip of the arm. Is there some way I can attach it to the fingers or something?

Step one - Select your model(s) that you want to be children.

Step two - Select your parent object.

Step three - Go to edit>parent.

Assuming i saw that right and youre using maya. if not just google parenting objects.
