Alright, I have a question. I like this board. Its name is cooler than something like /h/ or /hentai/. It was also the first board on 8chan I visited for a fap and I had a good time. I also don't like change too much.

This board is pretty slow though, so I want to invigorate it a little. Could I do unthemed dumping threads since I don't organize my stuff?

I'm thinking I could (try to, not perfect, don't have unlimited hentai or a perfectly flexible schedule) make a weekly thread where I post 25 pics or a biweekly thread where I post 50 pics.

I don't want anything in particular from this, I just want to grow this board because I love hentai, am not ever going back to halfchan, and I don't feel like there's really any of the big hentai boards that I like more than this one. I also plan to tell my (few) friends who love hentai and love sharing it about this place and see if they're interested in helping it out too.

I do recognize that it could become problematic if this board just became a dumping grounds and themed boards sort of went by the wayside, and while I don't think that would necessarily happen (as people other than me actually organize their shit), I can respect your opinion if considering that, you chose not to allow it.

Also yes, I know how autistic I sound, but this is your board and I don't want to fuck with you and just do shit you wouldn't like.

For the most part I just enjoy my own hentai collection or read doujin online. Might actually start DLing some doujins for when I inevitably run out of pics to post here.

Right now as a hentai page, we're one of the ones with a higher number of total posts, which puts us higher on the board. Not sure if we can ever beat some of the top ones, but like I said when I started posting, I really want this place to take off - which will be helped if we're up higher on that list. When people come and ctrl+f for hentai, we'll be one of the first, and that'll be a good thing.

I think it'll be a long while before people from some of halfchan's hentai boards migrate since they haven't really been affected as badly by shitty mods/janitors or new board policies, but something will happen eventually to cause another migration.

When 8chan one day sits with as much hits as it deserves, I want /3dpdpd/ to be one of the top hentai boards, if not the top.

Half-chan had too many lame mods and janitors. The system in place for 8chan rewards having mods and janitors that aren't lame. Look at how the original board for GamerGate got fucked and now they have a new one. People can and will move.

Also, if you have a worthwhile subject matter, you can make your own board. You're not confined to certain ones. Somewhat similar to leddit, but it doesn't have the leddit circlejerks of upvotes and downvotes.

8chan also has a statistics place where you can effectively rate all the boards and where the better ones are at the top. More posts per hour, more posters, more total posts all point to success and bring more people in. All accessible on one page. You don't have to just guess which one is the more successful.

There's also a lot less restrictions as to what's okay to post vs what's not, and that's always nice. CP is of course illegal to post as it should be, as are other things - but look at a set of board rules for an 8chan board and a half-chan board and you'll see a pretty big size difference.

The only thing that 4chan has on 8chan is size and history, but history isn't worth much in the end and I'm working to get 8chan - the site with the system - the size it deserves.

Aside from the system, Hotwheels has one of the biggest pairs I've ever seen and I respect him more than how I used to respect moot (which was a lot).

I am Pro-GG. I don't hate moot for what he did, I understand that he was probably under a lot of pressure to shut down GG threads, and I can't demand that he not cave into demands - but Hotwheels offered GG a new home and GG is still here six months later is probably a large part of that. Hotwheels therefore deserves a lot more of my respect than moot, and so what I do is not just because I think 8chan has a better system, but because I respect Hotwheels immensely.
