Okay so it was a buddy-cop comedy built on pop-culture references and animal puns, much more like like a Dreamworks film than anything produced by Disney. The hype was bullshit, it doesn't deserve all the praise. The only thing Disney about it was the heavy-handed moral lesson of "don't be racist"
