I didn't want to post my stats till fusty does because hell just over exaggerate again but my shoulder press is 54 kg squat is 92 kg deadlift is 133kg and my bench is awful like 65kg

Gym is fun lift and put down lift and put down 3 times a week working on attaining my goal of being everything that radio head song said in ok computer "fitter happier more productive" just like a real robotoman

Yeah, fuck deadlifts, I'd rather just do wide grip pullups and rows.

I also don't like squats, I prefer running, and having to run after leg day sucks, so I just stopped doing leg day as well. I know most people frown on it because it's not "right" but I only do upper body, abs and cardio. Leg day is just that terrible ligament popping thing people do just to say they do it. Its nothing but agony and makes you feel like you're menstruating for the next couple days. I was told to do two big leg things in a week because you wouldn't stay sore as long. They lied.

Arms, Chest, Back, Abs, and Cardio. If you need to do legs, add some sprints to your cardio. Squats, and Deadlifts are for dummies.

you must be doing something majorly wrong shit in your leg workout. Leg day always makes my back feel better and my legs sore, but not in any pain. It's also drastically reduced sciatic nerve pains that had been inhibiting my ability to walk (although the most effective combatant of the pain has by far been hiking)

Last post was me, dunno where my trip went.

My knees pop whenever I do squats to parallel on every rep and it hurts in a bone-to-bone no cartilage kind of way. I'm not really interested in fixing it if anything is wrong with my form, I don't like doing leg day, I'd rather do hill sprints or go for a run than work legs… My whole life I've always had trouble doing squats due to knee and joint pain. I have no idea why and I've had quite a few people show me proper form, I'm pretty sure my squat form is fine, and doing unweighted squats there is no popping in my knee, but once I get over 2plate it starts popping, less than 2 plate and I have to do too many reps IMO to be near my limit. So I've stopped and just run instead. I don't see any reason to force leg day, especially when it doesn't contribute to any of my aesthetic goals anyways. Why would I want to be t-rex mode? For what purpose?

Wide grip pull-ups are meh. Too compound.

Isolate better by getting a pull-down bar, hooking it up to a cable fly machine, locking your elbows, and doing pull-downs all the way down (elbows always locked). Isolates the shit out of your lats and kills em

i made pic related to demonstrate. range of motion should be as large as you can manage. I didn't draw the first frame as having his arms up high enough.

It depends on what your shoulders are comfy with though - if they're feeling bad at a certain range, then don't go that far
