Yeah, I think I'm going to stop checking 8ch. The 4chon board is basically a /new/ circlejerk and this board is basically dead. On top of this, there are several pedo boards on this site and I don't really want to support that. I think we just have to accept that 4chon is dead and move on. I think I'm getting too old for imageboards and their immaturity, so maybe I'll join a forum where you have to register that is moderated well and has actual discussion on actual topics. Idk, chan culture seems to be mostly for teenagers and I'm in my 20s. Or maybe I'll just pick up a book and read in my spare time. I've wasted too much time on the internet in general.

Eh, I'm gonna leave imageboards now brahs. I really liked this this community, it was my home on the internet, but unfortunately it is pretty much over now. We had a nice run but I guess it's finally time to call it a day. I gotta move on with my shitty life already. Chan culture is funny and all but I think ultimately it really is quite toxic to my mindset and isn't doing me any favours. Whatever few benefits I could have ever attained from it I have already done and then some. I might occasionally visit an interest-specific board, such as /mu/ or /vr/, when I'm looking for new stuff but no more general board browsing.

Well I really will miss you motherfuckers for what it's worth. You were alright dudes. I know it's dumb to announce that you're leaving like this and that nobody else really gives a fuck but it's for me more than anything else. I need a sense of closure to the chan chapter of my life, the human condition and all, and I guess this is how I can attain it.
