I dunno what the fuck should i do, i dont know what i want to do for work. But i dont know if it's not business/commerce related. Its confusing

what did you guys do after uni/how do i find a job?

With commerce you work in a bank? Or Australian funny money wallstreet? I dunno I never got finance degrees they all seemed get rich quick schemes.

I was gonna get a chemistry major (organic) but chemfag ruined that for me. As well as the crippling debt and pay rate. I went the security route only downside is you need to be clean for rest of life. First I wanted rcmp (royal canadian municipal police) pay rate 100k but it's 12 hr days 2 days on 1 day off 7am to 7pm then 7pm to 7am every 2 weeks rotation. Also they put you in a village and you monitor like a 75 km radius sucks.

So now I'm in process of border security just like that Australian show "border security" I'm on my way about 1/4 through the process. Next is physical pay is down grade about 60k and you have to live in a border town aka 200 people. Also training pay is 100$ a week so that's going to suck.

During an interview if you can express passion that can overcome any shoddy GPA, and also you don't have to put your GPA on your resume, and really just shouldn't at all if it's below a 3.0

You'll like work more than you think you will. The first job you get might not be the one you want, but it's important to be willing to settle for your first job just to keep your resume busy. I'm an assistant at a software company right now. It's not what I want to be doing at all, but it's where I am until the places I really want want me back. Kind of like how you might have a one night stand to fight away the thirst so that when the girl you want comes around you aren't super desperate.

Jobs are the exact same, so long as you already have one, getting another one is that much easier.

So… what do you like, and what kinds of things do you think our world needs more of?

if you're canadian in province uni is dirt cheap

I paid a total of about 13$ having gotten a single 4k scholarship to help with costs for my whole undergraduate degree majoring in physics at McGill

Why can't you do something like that in your province?

Brother your fucking Quebec like the only place where tuition is cheap. Saskatchewan is expensive cost about 10k for my first year. (Although I was getting supplemental so I wouldn't have to work full time, which I did anyway)

But I'm happy with my decision as Long as I get the job. Perfect security gov. Benefits and I can be the biggest prick I want and no one can do anything. ( as well as look through people's phones and computers, lotta nudie pics I betcha) (jk, I would never do that cbsa so when you read this it was a JOKE) I'm an innocent guy and I want to do the right thing, that's for sure

I totally understand what you're saying. I just got off the phone from this recruiter, she's putting me up for this job. Like this customer service/admin gig and the whole time she's like "this is your big break", "you have to be really passionate about customer service".

WHO THE FUCK IS PASSIONATE ABOUT THAT, FUCK THAT.

I kinda wanna reject it all and study art, but i'll still be working at some horrible company just lower down the chain.

Bruh, Jesus Christ didn't do shit with his life until he was in his mid-30's. You givin Blazer a hard time about graduating college? Shit, mayne people don't really figure themselves out for a while. That's no excuse for not trying to better yourself and make strides towards a career, but it takes time to develop yourself.

Man I'm 25, almost 26 and just barely cracking into the wind energy industry. I'm a glorified secretary right now who gets to do technical work like 2 days out of the week. I'm not shit. I had to put myself on a diet a few weeks ago because I'm getting fat. I havent been laid since june, and that was a shitty lay even. My car is always broken and my friends have started considering buying houses or have actually bought them, an have girlfriends they'd consider marrying. I have a shitty apartment and my biggest commitment is the idea of possibly buying a cat.

Calm down anon. Blazer has time. I have time. You have time. All that matters is that we work towards our goals. Sometimes life doesn't turn out how you want right away. When that happens you either keep grinding or you give up. Sometimes you have to start at a pleb job, the world and economy as a whole won't always trust you to do anymore. We won't always deserve it right away but it's our dharma to fight.

If you want to judge Blazer, come back when he's 70, and see what he's done with himself. Blazer, my niggah, keep grinding.
