So I like the idea of children dying. I don't actually want to kill children, because of consequences and because there's no urge, but I do want children to die.
I spend hours online looking at pics of dead children and reading posts of parents who "lost" their children or have dying children. I straight out hate kids, not like most people who claim to hate kids, I just can't stand to be around them without wishing a car to crash into them.
I'm not even actually a bad person. I have empathy for people (except the little pieces of crap) and, especially, animals. I can't stand the thought of an animal being harmed. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats I would die for. I visit gore website and when a random animal post comes up I immediately stop watching and feel angry and sick.
But children? They're just the most ugly and unlikeable waste of air. And it annoys me when someone seems to love children too.
Maybe the explanation is my mother always loved my little brother more than me, yet she would forget about us both whenever she saw a boy smaller than us. She used to care for her friend's son, 6yrs younger than me, and keep him home for days. She would spend the entire time spoiling him, and would even forget to make us food. I remember feeling fucking sad. She never talked to me unless necessary.
Also, I was bullied by other kids. It got fine in the high-school years, but up until age 14 I only have bad memories of my peers. I had fantasies about shooting up the school at that time too.
I also dislike happy people in general, and kids are so fucking happy and dumb.
I still believe wanting children to die is not wrong. It's like killing a fucking mosquito, they're just as useless, annoying and even more demanding. Or killing a parrot if you something as "smart" as them. But I would never harm a parrot.
Just wanted to see if anyone else felt this way. Just look at pic. Looks like the fucking human pigs from that Twilight Zone episode.

pretty edgy bro

That baby is really ugly, I'd punch it too.
You're pretty edgy for wanting kids to die too
If you can analyze why you feel this way, but not have any ability to change or neutralize it then you're pretty emotionally weak. Obviously your malice is irrational, and you shouldn't be such a peasant, holding onto it even though you know it to be a construct of some arbitrary aspect of your past.

>>907Totoro was a shinigami. The cat-bus took the girls to Graveyard Road (墓道) at the end of the story.
The hospital visit was just a detour so that the girls could see their parents one last time. There was no interaction between the girls and their parents. The girls just sat on a tree outside the hospital, laughed and then disappeared.
The story is Miyazaki's tribute to the two sisters who were murdered in the Sayama Incident.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sayama_IncidentJust like in the Sayama Incident, the little sister went missing and the older sister went out to look after her. In the film, they reunited under Jizo statues, which in Japanese culture are patron deities of deceased children and aborted fetuses.

Totoro was a happy movie from my childhood man, what the hell
Now I'm supposed to interpret that the two girls actually die?

BTW, the Sayama Incident happened in
May 1963. In the film, the two sisters are named "Mei" and "Satsuki".

>Miyazaki began his animation career in 1963, when he joined Toei Animation. He's also a huge feminist.
Also, Totoro has a cameo in Toy Story 3 (babby's first horror/existentialism series)

>>957Its more that it was such a happy movie from my childhood that I'd seen dozens of times, that has now been tainted…
My brother and I got our parents to rent it from the videostore so much that the guy who owned the store offered to just sell the VHS so much. It is the defining film of my early childhood, and now it's about death instead of cute fuzzy forest spirits helping kids heal their sick mother.

Dude, relax. It's just a fan theory. Studio Ghibli denied it and not everyone who knows about the theory agrees with it.
>it was such a happy movieThat's the whole point of the movie and that doesn't have to change. Everything's gonna be alright, anon.
More fun facts:
The movie really took place in Sayama Hills.

The hospital in the movie is called 七国病院 (shichikoku byouin / Seven-country Hospital). There's a hospital in Sayama called 八国病院 (hachikoku byouin / Eight-country Hospital).
