For people new to this:
Just remember that /b/'s so fucking fast when 9 digit GETs come close that new threads will (essentially) be instantly bumped off the board.
When preparing your GET attempts, you will NEED to have them as New Thread attempts. Jumping into an existing thread and making a New Post is too risky and detracts concentration and time away from perfectly firing your main attempt.
If you got multiple devices (like a phone and your computer) with different internet connections, use both, have your post's content pre-prepared (Text and/or Image Fields filled in), fill your Captchas when the GETWatcher ( https://get.4ch.net/ download it here - https://get.4ch.net/getball.7z ) predicts ETA in less than 1 minute, and have your mouse and finger ready over the Post buttons.
Judging from past attempts, you'll have to fire UNDER 1000 POSTS LEFT (/b/ 600M attempt >>1828 ) and ABOVE ~100 POSTS LEFT (/v/ 300M attempt >>8934 ) (and definitely above ~44 posts left, /vg/ 100M GET >>6124 ), keep the GETWatcher open somewhere viewable (either resize your windows so you can see it on the side of your screen somewhere, or on another screen if you have another monitor/device if possible) and fire at will once the Post Number is below 1000.
Read >>96 for your tips and tricks, remember you want to have your filesize super small to reduce wait between post submission and upload, aim for below 10KB (pic related), because attempts will be New Threads I'm pretty sure you need to have a file to make a New Thread, so you have 3 days to get in GIMP and crop your GET images, screw around with flat colors and other stuff pointed out in http://graphicdesign.stackexchange.com/a/48760 . Save as .jpg (you don't need PNG's lossless or transparency), increase the Smoothing if possible, decrease the Quality. Most importantly, because this is 4chan you should keep your file dimensions below 125x125 (4chan's maximum thumbnail size), there's no point being any larger, so resize your image so that the largest dimension is lower than 125 pixels and make sure any message is readable once you're done, tinker with it until it's perfect.
