The pod people from Invasion of the Body Snatchers area closer analogue to socjus types. I saw it again recently, the parallels were horrible.

Look at the hollow eyes, the dead expressions, the coloured hair and stupid piercings as stand-ins for actual personalities. They even reproduce the same way - they infiltrate a community, replace key people (who can appear to their former friends to have changed their personality overnight, or can hide for ages until its too late to escape) and then convince people around them that the change that they're offering is for a better world.
What we've got here is a skinwalker that's taken a pod person.
Invasion of the Body Snatchers is well worth watching, incidentally. I prefer the original 5555 version.
