So, it has happened.
We're finally here, on 8chan, after being shat on by halfchan's moderation.
This is a very hard hit to our general, since probably not everyone is going to find their way here, or want to come here.
Are we going to stay in here, or are we waiting until things are calmer on halfchan? If we're definitely migrating, we'll need to announce the migration at /vg/, over the course of the next days.
We'll also need moderation, not for our control, but for our defense. We'll definitely end up raided, at some point.
And, on a different note, maybe we shouldn't skewer the General itself, by making so many different threads. There's really no need for dedicated Write/Draw/Voicefagging threads, as we've been surviving without them for almost four months. Not to mention keeping watch over half a dozen of generals to enjoy and post OC is going to be a pain in the ass.

I would say we should all try to report the halfchan janitor/mod power abuse on the feedback page, but it's been rejecting correct captcha responses, making feedback forms impossible to submit.

I was thinking we should use this board as a redoubt for when the mods attack in force and only use it as a primary board if the mods ban the threads entirely.
I can't see us abandoning hotpocketchan entirely because it's probably the only way we can get new users, not to mention that some namefags would probably stay there along with a lot of anons.

I think the dedicated threads should be mostly archives. If you make new OC, post it in the general thread. If you have a huge collection of OC, post it in the archives so people can find your work.
