Hey /8cc/, /meta/ anon here.

We are in the process of developing an 8chan Cup with the following 16 teams:
>/tv/
>/tg/
>/k/
>/sp/
>/a/
>/pol/
>/int/
>/bane/
>/co/
>/v/
>/tech/
>/b/
>/baph/
>/cow/
>/furry/
>and a 16th team that will represent the rest of 8chan, probably with the name of /rest/

We are still in our premature stages of development, so it would be nice if you guys were to pitch in any ideas for this. We tried piggybacking off your basketball idea, but we decided that it still has to be soccer, so we kept our Cup like that.

What we see are major problems ATM is that:
1. We cannot settle on which boards would be represented in the /rest/ team. We could do one player per board, but it's still quite a limited number and there will have to be 11 main players plus extra just in case of switches.
2. We have a dearth of people who can actually stream, play, or shoutcast the Cup. If you can do either of those three things, comment as such in this thread and I'll direct you to our /meta/ thread.

Anyway, I'm not trying to spoil the party for any of you. Run your 8chan Slam if you want. However, we actually want to start an 8chan Cup very soon, and we're trying to set back as much time on actually doing instead of planning.

I thought about changing /rest/ to /ro8/ (Rest Of 8chan). I don't know, it has a nice ring to it.

Since the /meta/ thread is kinda dead atm, I'll discuss our 8chan Cup possibilities here.

I found all the boards advertised here and compiled them, then removed any board with less that 20 active users, and then I arranged them by number of users to get the normal team list and the reserve list.
