=Objective: A map of the cancer infecting media.=
You know what? I'm feeling generous and vindictive; I'll give you a map of the San Fran indie hipster douchebag community. I was once one of them, and I now want nothing but for their empire / house of cards to fall for their betrayals. Betrayals of outcasts, autists, nerds, atheists, liberal values, and true equality in favor of dogma and money.
Most of this is from my memory.
Jeff Gerstmann talks about it in this clip.
The cancer genesis places to look are Wired, Boing Boing, Tor Books, and "big indie", for the San Fran segment.
Look at their friends, former members, and spinoffs like Ars Technica and Polygon.
