Thing is, SS13 started as Goons but stopped being so many years ago. About 80% of the servers out there not only aren't goon, they actually despise them. There's Goonstation and now TGstation and that's it. The community is mostly channers and even Bay12 is more significant than Goons when it comes to SS13.

If you like digging so much, you can even go check the archives of /v/ and find that the narrative hasn't even been consistent. Before, the goons where the shitposters, then they were the regular players, then they were the admins, now they are the BO. That's how those threads have been. Someone has been consistently spamming "X is a goon!" in them without ever providing an inkling of evidence. They might be unironically right in some way, but the current administration of Hatestation and the core playerbase has nothing to do with Goons. The station has Dakimakuras, would anime content ever make it into a Goonstation?

Space autism man here, I've been with the SS13 threads on /v/ since they started and have played for a very long time, the communities are always goonish as fuck because of a small handful of people who like to murder in game for no reason and shitpost in the threads when they finally get killed themselves. The servers on /v/ have had a particularly long history of these small pockets of shitters ruining everything about the game they can including the threads, they're even worse than most SS13 shitters. HOWEVER, our servers have always been hosted by us and we generally don't say anything about them outside of the threads for them, any goon would have to have come from another site for 8chan itself and also have happened to play SS13 before coming, not the other way around. Our servers have always been off of the server lists and no one could connect without knowing the IP.

Second, at this time Hate first opened up then hosted by darts321 with gitgud as head admin. Both servers at this point announced that they would be starting with clean slates and not carry over any bans except for the one regarding DanielHen who everyone agreed was too much of a spaz to get to play. Shortly after Hate ended up becoming the most used station likely because it didn't call itself AltStation which many people in the thread were wary of due to the previous months of shitposting done in its name.

Things went smooth at first but inevitably as people were banned and bad decisions were made by the owners regarding staff and mentor choices possibly spurred by the severe lack of mods to deal with the now massive amounts of people playing only to grief and behave like assholes in general.

The thread once again filled up with the very same shitposting that had occurred during the mid-end lifetime of Pizza. This culminated in darts321 at some point going too crazy with admin buttons causing a lot of people to get angry, gitgud talking with him about it and for some reason after this darts321 doing what Riesen did and just up and leave and him being the host this left the station in an unsure position but shortly after a new host was found, this caused more drama to occur.

The /v/ hotpocket suggested the ss13 threads may have go.ons in them. jewsy jews and his funky bunch have suspicions that they can't substantiate on their own so they came here to ask for digging. Based on the behavior of the BO I've witnessed over there it's pretty clear he's very paranoid about go.ons in the ss13 threads. He's so paranoid that it's not outside the realm of possibility that he'll try to demonize this board it's found that those threads aren't full of SA members like he believes them to be.
