I think a lot of the bluepilled anons know something is fucky - at least subconsciously - but go along with the story(s) because it supports some broader worldview. With Sandy Hook, I always assumed the reason the surviving family members came across like shitty actors was because they were all rich fucks from an out-of-touch, ultra-liberal east coast gated community, and on God knows how many prescription medications. The same reasoning could apply here, since they all hail from Portland and Seattle. The giant blown-up photos of their kids were probably given to them by the news stations.

The crisis actors are just the tip of the iceberg. They are professional SJWs. They do what they do to make the world a better, safer place and don't seem to mind the money and fame either. Some are decent actors, some like Gene Rosen or the guy from OP are laughably bad. Take them out of the equation though and you still have all the evidence on one side of the debate.

Don't mean to rain on the parade, but I'm pretty sure this thread is moving as fast as it is because the board userbase was mostly born after 2000. It's not unlike how 9/11 was the popular topic on half /pol/ because they were essentially children who found a place online to talk about it.
I never really considered how Sandy Hook would affect children, but obviously it had an impact. Maybe they don't go to lasertag/paintball parties as much these days. Maybe nerf guns don't sell as well.
In any case, I think anyone of any age deserves to know the value of a working gun and what it means to be armed.
