WELCOME TO SOLAR QUEST!
Overview: It's Monopoly in space, and you get to shoot at each other.
I'll be posting the rule book for your viewing pleasure, so take a look. I'll be modifying the board as we go to help keep track of who is in what spot, who owns what, and where fuel stations are.
If you want to play, You can choose between Red, Yellow, White, Black, and Gray for your ship (I have already taken Blue). One color per person. Use a tripcode so we know who is who.
TAKING YOUR TURN
Each turn has 3 steps.
Step 1: Decide if you are going to shoot at players in range or purchase anything before you move
Step 2: Post a roll of 2d6 for your move
Step 2a: If your first roll post resulted in doubles, post again with a 1d36 roll to determine which Red Shift option to follow
Step 3: After you have moved or followed the Red Shift instructions, determine if you wish to shoot anyone in range or buy anything. Keep in mind that you cannot shoot if you have already purchased fuel that turn
If you decide to shoot at someone on your turn, roll enough d6's to cover your shooting in the post that details your action, and take the pairs as they appear.
For example, if you want to shoot 3 times, roll 6d6. if your results are: 1, 3, 3, 3, 6, 4 = 22, then your shot pairs are [1, 3] [3, 3] and [6, 4], so you hit once, and your target owes you $600 from the double 3's.
To keep track of who has what, Post your final money total, owned property list, and fuel level in the last post of your turn.
