When it comes to drinks, gentlemen of /8lounge/, what is your drink of choice when it comes to getting comfy?
My drink of choice is tea. If I've had a particularly stressful day, I brew myself some oolong or pu-erh tea and it puts me right at ease. Coffee used to be my go to comfy drink, but now i associate it with getting up early for work and it doesn't calm me down like it used to.

>>1108I drink heated water. Yep, plain, simple, and disliked by over 60% of the world's population. I realize how odd this sounds; in fact, I've had to live my entire life with people telling me how weird it was to drink heated water.

Right now in central Maine, when the "real feel" temperature is -8 degrees outside, Earl Grey tea brewed in an iron pot with splashes of whisky is my choice of drink when I want to get comfy; also hot cocoa made with Hershy's Natural unsweetened, with Truvia, hot water and heavy cream, nice.
Since I have to go back outside now in the dark a splash of the whisky straight is pretty comfy also.

I sometimes add milk mainly to cool it
It's called cafe de olla, a literal translation would be pot coffee, it's regular coffee boiled with cinnamon and piloncillo, a local sweet.

I have an assortment of loose leaf teas that I keep on hand for when the mood strikes me. Blue People Oolong is mellow and relaxing; Coconut Red is fantastic to add spiced rum to. My go-to, though, is the Lychee Black. It's fruity, but not very sweet on it's own so I brew it with stevia leaves to give it a nice slightly sweet flavor without it tasting like refined sugar. Pic related; it's my style of teapot. If you like looseleaf tea, I would highly recommend looking into one of these.
Also I do not put milk in my tea because I am not British. Chai tea gets a pass, though.

You Mr(s). Mr(s). Anons need to get on my level. Nothing like a cold 40 of malt liquor after a hard day.
