Have you recently played any games from your childhood?

If yes, was it as fun as you remembered?

Did you have to change anything to make it more fun? Mods, hacks, etc?

I have. Recently got into Pokemon again. Playing the Moemon Version of Fire Red, makes the already great remake even better. I can't remember this game ever being this damn fun.

I played sim city 4 for about 11 years before Cities Skylines finally superceded it. It's a nice game to play and unwind, like a digital garden. Also there's so many mods that expand its lifespan.

I played Sim City 4 before, it was really fun.

I kinda fell off on it, couldn't pick it up again.

Great game, though, Mr(s). Anon

Ice and Fire.

I'd find you an image of it if I could, but it's a really old game for Windows 98. I haven't played it recently, but I hope to again one day.

>you're in a space suit flying in a ship to an empty space station full of crystals.

>your job is to unfreeze the crystals since the station went on cryo-lockdown and froze everything in it.

>you don't know why this happened.

>each crystal you unfreeze either releases a station personnel or a ice/fire/electricity tornado monster alien motherfucker.

>they legitimately look scary as fuck and can incinerate you, electrocute you, or freeze you.

>even worse when you enter the station's sub-levels and unleash the more powerful ones.

I started playing a PC port of Metal Slug 3. It's a really fun Contra-ish run and gunner with a sense of humor and great soundtrack. Even better then I remember it.

Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory

>If yes, was it as fun as you remembered?

Yes. Not that hard considering today's FPS. There are still few active servers surprisingly.

>Did you have to change anything to make it more fun? Mods, hacks, etc?

Just etlegacy that fixes bugs related to running it on modern OS.

One of best multiplayer FPS ever made.

Still playing Tiberian Sun. That game was the bomb back in the day. Nothing like it.

Not sure if you'd call it a childhood, though.
