That being true, I don't typically have a personally discriminating taste when it comes to art. If it appears to me that it has technical merit to the extent that it represents something the average person can't create, I tend to intuitively have an appreciation for it. To put it another way, I don't find that I discriminate over context when I enjoy art (which could be music, painting sculpture, etc.) I just enjoy it for what it is.
Again though, I don't typically surround myself with this kind of thing… Although I will say I'm rather fond of the underlying beauty found within [e.g] electrical schematics and mathematical equations, but I don't think I could get away with hanging those things on the wall.
