>Is Arya Stark autistic?
I am autistic, so I'll compare.
>I actually saw a few hints of it in the way she acts throughout seasons 1-4
For season one she is friendly normal and sociable, so far not autistic. In season two she is in survival mode so its harder to judge, but she makes friends quickly, knows when to keep her mouth shut and can read nuances, still not seeming autistic.
>she doesn't make friends well either
As stated before, yes she does. She makes friends while imprissoned, escaping and with multiple captors she has. Shes a savant with making friends.
>she doesn't fit into pre-assigned gender roles
Which has nothing to do with autism. Or are you using the word autism as a broad term like "retard"? Autism is a specific disability/mind set. Autism has nothing to do with not fitting in to gender roles.
> when the thin man asks for oysters, she completely ignores him
like another poster mentioned she's seeing someone she hates and is distracted by that. Its a common way of having a story unfold. Have the character see someone focus on them and zone out on the person they are dealing with. If that was autistic me, I'd not be able to focus on the site of my enimy because I'd be too distracted selling the old man oysters. Shes the opposite of autistic.
