I running the shipping and receiving for a small specialty machine shop. Nice little family owned business with a great boss.

I need to be up before the sunrise every day, which is a pain, but the way they schedule things, I pretty much have Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off every week, all year round.

On the side, I occasionally take commissions to make props and little things for friends and acquaintances. I don't charge much because I'm no professional, but it's a couple hundred bucks a year that I wouldn't get otherwise.

I am a student, some days I starve and some days I eat unhealthy cafe food.

I study, but also work as a bartender in a student pub to make ends meet. It's not exactly the best-paid position, but considering we're allowed to pour ourselves a drink (within the limits of reason, naturally) and the you eventually become friends with all the regulars, it's almost more of a hobby than a real occupation for me.

I help maintain a hydro-electric dam.

however this summer's been so hot, and with no A/C I just couldn't do it

i eat at local restaurants near my home

can't wait for the heat to go back to Africa so I can cook again
