Even though I wrote on the ?/tags page I can ban people from the tags system I've never ''actually'' done that. Who is going to moderate all these tags? Wouldn't arguments over if a tag belongs or not just bring even more drama to /operate/?

You can't let the board owner of the original board decide because no one wants competitor boards stickied on their board. A long time ago I argued with Mark over him putting >>>/vvv/ and >>>/svidya/ in his board announcement. He refused to and instead keeps those niche boards there because he knows they're no threat to him.

Voting doesn't work due to proxyfagging (see demochan, rofl).

You not only have to come up with something that would be nice, but a feasible way to execute it.
