- From the period between July 22 2015 to August 18 2015, 8chan received zero requests from US government agencies. 

The government of Iceland discussed banning 8chan over "hate speech" on the board /isl/, a board in Icelandic (a language with less speakers than the population of Wyoming, or hell, Esperanto) according to Visir.is. http://www.visir.is/islendingar-deila-hatursarodri-a-spjallbordi/article/2015708109985 

However, they didn't send me an official request, and if they had I would have told them to go fuck themselves. Still waiting for that. Also, we were apparently defended in Parliament by the "Pirate Party". I am not making this up, Pirates defending 8chan against oversensitive Vikings in the Parliament of Iceland, a country powered by a volcano.

8chan complied with 0 DMCA requests during the period between July 22 2015 to August 18 2015. 

8chan received one takedown requests from NCMEC during the period between July 22 2015 and August 18 2015 in relation to 8archive.moe/aus/. It was complied with, and the archive is currently being strengthened so that when global volunteers delete from the main site it propogates to the archive. This should cut down on the number of requests.

8chan was blocked from Google for a few days but received no takedown from them. It was later reinstated. See https://medium.com/@infinitechan/google-is-not-your-friend-5a6636af0651 for more. Oops? This could have contributed to the 0 DMCA's, yay.

8chan's warrant canary has not expired and is being monitored by the EFF at https://canarywatch.org/8chan/. This page was previously https://canarywatch.org/z8chan/ , I assume to put it on the bottom of their list in their CMS. I emailed the EFF about this move without warning users or redirecting and the fact that it incorrectly lists our domain as "8chan.net", a message which unfortunately received no reply. (This is current. Still no reply as of August 18 2015.)
