I'm fairly split about this.
In a shitload of anime or worse JRPG, you have guys that look likes girls.
Except in AssClass... Everyone says Nagisa look like a girl to the point the girls actually think he's and it factor in both to the plot and subplot. (Spoiler: Nagisa is like that, because his half crazed mother essentially treats him as a girl, as a surrogate for her botched up education).
Sure it's not the first trap, but unlike most of those "lol it's a girl taken for a boy it's funny, (which is something that actually comes directly from french theater authors in the 17th century. Half the stereotypical scene in anime from rescuing a girl from fake delinquents, guy thinking he's wooing a girl while it's another guy, etc... are directly from 17th century comedy classics...) it's actually well written in.

Had some mixed thoughts of the pacing of season two since it feels like they are going to wrap this all up since the manga is ending but it's been alright. Wish certain scenes had a little bit more impact than it did but its doing well with how much they condensed into each episode. I've seen anime that have done it so much worse from the source material like Bakuman.
One chapter to go. I'm liking how it's wrapping everything up through several chapters unlike most that try to do it all in the final chapter. Can't wait to see what crazy idea he'll come up for his next manga.
