I mean I love Koume but at this point it's more about finishing what they started.
Between the anime announcement and airing, they started releasing the character sheets like any other show does. Koume was among the main batch, along with the likes of Natsuki and Nana. Natsuki and Nana both eventually got their own episodes, and even Kanade got one. Unsurprisingly by the the end of the series those two had joined the Cinderella Project - along with Koume - who had maybe three lines in the entire series and was always in the background. Inexplicably paired with Ranko, who was not only a solo unit but was earlier established to dislike the kinds of things Koume is interested in.
There was clearly a Koume episode planned at some point, developing a relationship with Ranko and introducing her into the Cinderella Project, but it got scrapped for whatever reason. Probably had something to do with the fucked up airing schedule at the end of each cour. Upsetting, but fine if they can fix it in the OVA. They didn't fix it in the OVA.

It's always up in the air whether or not there will even be another batch. I remember people thinking they'd die out after the third one since all three New Gens had singles at that point. I do think they'll have to stop soon otherwise they're going to have to start reaching into 'literally who?' territory which arguably they already have. Unless they seriously have made it a goal on giving all 200 Cinderellas voices. That's fine too I guess.
In any case, it's not been announced when the next batch is coming out or if it'll exist at all. If they do, there's no telling when they'll come out. Previous batches have had wildly different amounts of time between them, from as little as two months to almost a year. Five months seems to be the average though.
I think they've got at least one or two more left in them at the minimum, since there's a couple of idols from the anime who are voiced but don't have singles. Pic related.

2011 Cinderella Girls was an early mobage and so gameplay never really developed beyond "excel spreadsheet simulator" and getting your favorite idol to say "aishiteru". You could try it, but they've progressively locked so much of the game behind more and more walls that it's just not worth it. And that's coming from someone who had a registered phone number and thus could access everything.
2015 Cinderella Girls is a really fun rhythm game that runs at 60fps with no content walls and visuals that are arguably better than the PS3 im@s games. You also get your favorite idol to say "aishiteru". Some things never change.
