Reddit is filled with normalfags that probably wont even know who he is, let alone be interested in investing money in anime (well, most of us wouldnt, either, but he doesnt need to know that).

As for 4chan, the crucial difference would be taht we would be reaching out and asking for it, so the assumption would be that there is already an interest in it in the first place. 4chan is bigger, but if they dont actively seek him out, the perception will be that this place might be more important. Besides, nothing stops him from going there later.

Besides, 8chan has some ties to 2ch, and some of those directors are involved in imageboard culture. He might know about us already.
