To Love-Ru Darkness has quite a bit of focus on the little sister Mikan.

Darkness is also way better than the original and drops any pretense to just focus on the girls. I'm not saying every manga should be like that, but it works well for this one.

Regarding Hoozuki-san Chi no Aneki and Hoozuki-san Chi no Aneki +Imouto:

The problem isn't that much the fanservice, but how the girls keep playing with him like he was nothing.

Like, the sister knows he likes her, and she keeps nurturing his love for her, even tough she doesn't seems to like him at all, and is only doing that for fun/pity.

Also, since the last chapters of the Prequel Manga, the brother has been reduced to this submissive, overly needy and inconvenient guy, who keeps clinging on his sister without giving her any space

Saying that, I really find it bad, because I simply LOVE the Artstyle/Character Design of the Girls - I'm in real need of some sauce for that art, because this manga doesn't do justice to its potential.

No, it completely destroys the genuine care they had for each other. It takes out wacky but believable stuff from the first, and turns it into a shit cake where someone is orgasming every 4 pages.

Instead of having buildup to them finally kissing or something, you just sort of retroactively know they've been doing it, then he just randomly gets blown by her cousin who he's known for all of one day, and then she jerks him off.

Then Misaki shows up as some sex goddess with a love potion and more than 20 orgasms happen in the space of 2 chapters. I am not joking. It's not believable, unlike the first one, which went from having romantic tension to genuinely tugging at your feelings.

It's just like they said "Remember our first series, which was a funny, cute, thoughtful piece about growing up?" Let's keep the characters but turn it into a fucking abortion of a manga with no tension or redeeming qualities.
