Year or two ago there used to be a live stream on which 50-60 anons would watch anime from current season almost all day. Back then I'd just have it open on the main screen 14 hours a day for a month (-8 for sleep and -2 for bathroom and preparing food). Considering the openings and endings were skipped and each episode has 20 minutes, I'd watch about 40 daily. I'd browse stream chat and imageboards on a second screen 3/4 of the time but I think that still counts.
Nowadays I don't think there's a stream like it? In any case, after this experience watching anime alone feels a bit bland unless I find something special. I'd say 2 episodes a day on average

It varies by season. In general though it is about three or four episodes a day. If I am pulling something off the backlog and it catches my interest I will watch it until I pass out and start watching again as soon as I wake up.

I got some candy and plowed through Kaiba, Niea_7, and this one space series about a ship with a bad ass revolver cannon that is fighting a war but needs to find sponsorship to pay for their operating costs so they let a film crew on and become a reality tv show in one sitting, but that took over a day

I think most I've seen in a single day is 15. I got about 40 animes I'm currently watching this season. Some that continued from last season, some animes that I put on hold to watch other anime, ones I might have skipped for bizarre reasons and some long running series mixed in with the new stuff on now. Also add to that I'm reading about 20 manga series over the course of the week, whatever gets released, catching up on long running series and some new stuff here and there.
