Post your anime and mangas that you never see people talk about or that you are relatively sure people don't know about I'll start with a fun little list.

Wonderland -

Everyone gets really really small, gotta survive being really really small

Glepinir -

People get powers from an alien.

This guys power is to turn into a fursuit.

He meets a hot chick, she goes inside of him.

Yumi's Cells -

Basically think of that British comic "Numskulls" and make it a Korean manga.

It's pretty cute and funny.

File: 9b887bd70589521⋯.jpg (249.86 KB, 960x1440, 2:3, Yami Shibai.jpg)

As for anime I can only think of "Yami Shibai."

an anthology series of japanese folklore and legends told in a "paper theater" animation style.

It's pretty fun.

File: 8ac71273d24f44e⋯.jpg (259.72 KB, 1115x1600, 223:320, 004.jpg)

Sen to man.

It's about a single father raising his daughter.

Q.Ko-Chan. It's not really good story-wise but I enjoy the artstyle and worldbuilding.

It's basically cute robot girls doing cute things set in a dystopian future in which mankind is facing an invasion by giant squid monsters.

Isn't this thread the same as >>621947 ?

The OP has actually put some effort into the opening posts. Shush.

>First chapter

>It's about her period

Fuan no Tane was way better

too bad whoever was translating the "Plus" chapters and that one about a Radio dropped em

Is this not the most recent?

Shit got dark really fast...

yeah, but it was uploaded back in 2015, and the scanlators site is the ame

File: 6b931cf6da27f1e⋯.png (214.42 KB, 1090x1600, 109:160, 003.png)

Are you implying that the mangaka about a dad and his daughter does dad on daughter incest doujins?

That's absurd.

File: 5da8852a2c4b179⋯.jpg (163.39 KB, 1456x978, 728:489, Tena on S-String vol1.jpg)

File: a58dcb17e7fa53d⋯.jpeg (575.56 KB, 1805x2600, 361:520, Ichiroh volume1.jpeg)

Tena On S-String. Took forever for the hardcopy to finish, and the biggest ball-buster rumors about an anime, which would never happen, though the title role is just made for Rie Kugimiya.

Ichiroh. Fun manga with fun, though predictable characters. Won't ever see an anime of it, due to lack of popularity, as well as a main side character design directly swiped from Pani Poni Dash.

I've watched three seasons of the show and I didn't enjoy it as much as I wanted to. I like my horror to be a bit slower, and by the time it started making a good atmosphere the episode had to end because it is only a few minutes long.

There's only the three seasons but yeah it's a bumpy ride throughout.

Oh speaking of that I have another couple of animu that are relatively unknown.

Onara Gorou -

To say too much would be to spoil the anime but I thought it was really funny.

C: The Money of Soul and Possibility Control -

I dunno how to explain this one really.

Think pokemon, mix in some Shin Megami, and crippling debt.

Speed Grapher -

This one might be a bit well known, but basically it's about a man who can explode shit with a camera.

Oh also sex orgies and noir style story telling.

>There's only the three seasons

There's a forth one running right now

So I've been Reading Fuan, and some of these stories are hilar-----

Thanks for telling me about this one, Anon.

I love this sort of almost brutally realistic slice of life.

Honestly? I don't know what is "obscure". Is something obscure in my collection?

I rarely see discussion on

>Nobunaga no Chef

Which are ongoing;

>Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari

Which are all complete.

Oh shit! We've got ourselves a hacker here!

why is everything in black and blue?

Black and blue is the future.

File: 507bfbbd958373c⋯.jpg (713.58 KB, 960x1400, 24:35, shoulder-a-coffin-kuro-3.jpg)

Some manga, you like to take your time to savor. With Shoulder-A-Coffin Kuro, the savor has taken years to continue. However, with GA having wrapped up (dammit), at least now Kiyuduki can get this manga wrapped up, hopefully with an anime afterwards.

Next door-chan has a serious case of best girl.

T-These are the default ls colors.

Could've sworn that'd be Neon Pink and Chrome Silver.

Fuan no Tane Plus was being translated by "Kaidan blogspot"

Kouishou Radio was being translated by "Slug Chicks"

both by saome author

both have had no apparent activitysince their last posts....

thats kinda spoopy

>Yumi's Cells -

Koreans make a lot of good manhwa.

I recommend My Love Tiger.

I'm really digging Gleipnir. Thanks for the recommendation, OP.

And also, I just realized why the art is so familiar. The author of Gleipnir also did Sekainohate de Aimashou.

Of course man, I'm glad you're digging it.

I've got some more underground stuff for you friends. THen I have to get back to playing some video games.

Kamisama no Iutoori, Kamisama no Iutoori II -

Now I'm sure this one is pretty well known state side, but I never ever see anyone talk about it.

It's fucking great and there's even a live action movie. Basically it's killer children games, but with some good story in between.

Mahou Shoujo of the End -

I was reluctant to recommend this one because the story gets stupid and convoluted, but it's basically "Magical girls are evil. And they will fucking kill you."

Tomodachi Game -

A better Liar Game

Pluto -

Now this one, I don't actually know if it's obscure or not. I feel like it might be, but I really have no clue, if you don't know what this is. Lets take Astroboy. and put it from the point of view of a detective, and make it very very dark.

It's fucking great.

As far as anime goes.

I don't watch a lot of anime surprisngly.

But the only one I can really really think of, and I use the word anime as in "Japanese Animation"

Is this beauty right here.

>Mahou Shoujo of the End

I found this one at complete fucking random, it's pretty OK. I read up to 12 before putting it in the 'save for a rainy day' list since it does get a bit convoluted.

File: b86a94f07e1057e⋯.jpg (21.83 KB, 300x218, 150:109, Vigilante-Boku-No-Hero-Aca….jpg)

I totally forgot about this beauty.

Boku No Hero Academia Illegals -

It's a spin off that, as far as I know, no one fucking talks/knows about. It's about vigilantes in the world of My Hero Academia and basically features 3 heroes who have fuck all for powers.

it's a really interesting take on the world and I really enjoy it.

I think everyone is well aware of this one.

I like the newest chapter sadly pure cat girl is kill.

It would be stupid to assume otherwise right?

But on the websites that I read manga on it almost never has any subscribers or discussion on it

Yeah, that happened a little too suddenly. The author has a problem with pacing their drama and tends to have it happen all at once.

All that stuff about the catgirl getting all cozy with Fursuitboy, and Camerahead getting NTR'd and then she's smushed one chapter after being introduced.

My prediction is that Fursuit got the power to regenerate after having the second drink that reattached his head.

Rest in riperinos, cutie-chan.

Fuck, I knew it was going to happen, but I'd have enjoyed seeing her a bit more.

Lilu Lilu Fairilu

Oh man,I actually wonder if anyone here read it.

Hey, Can someone help me remmeber something? I'm trying to find an anime.

>Otaku is sent by his world government to show another world the wonders of Animu and prep them for an invasion.

The point is how unimportant they are.

it isn't that it's fast paced drama, it's that life is so totally meaningless here.

all that matters is Claire, Fursuit, and Claire's sister.

everyone else is useless

There was a "Fuan no Tane" movie.

It tries to bind some of the short stories together, but it feels really meh

File: 163f8df4ee2f9ba⋯.jpg (145.66 KB, 1920x1080, 16:9, Outbreak Company.jpg)

I think know what your looking for. It's called Outbreak Company, I just finished it recently and liked it a surprising amount

>Koreans make a lot of good manhwa

>a lot

M8, it's like looking for a spec of gold in a quarry of human feces. Too much effort for too little reward, honestly.

anon look just because most of redditors don't know any of that shit doesn't mean it's obscure

File: 6cf7b059813ba33⋯.jpg (109.16 KB, 728x1015, 104:145, lucu01_cover.jpg)

Gleninir seems pretty cool. Checking it out now.

Speaking of which I've been checking out Lucu. Haven't gotten too far in but so far it seems to be a comedy about a boy that finds himself living with a loli called Lucu that might possibly be the devil.

The only manhwa I read is 4 Cut Hero, which is comedy/action story about a powerful hero who is also a NEET dealing with the consequences of killing the demon lord

Overall it's fairly entertaining and some of the more serious moments are also pretty engaging, but it really feels like halfway through the author decided to stop doing a gag manhwa and make it more serious instead, which involves giving nearly every major character a flashback arc because he forgot to do so beforehand

The only good manwha has a Japanese publisher.

No webtoon shit.

File: 21638ce256b66c9⋯.jpg (33.84 KB, 960x498, 160:83, 1447572378757.jpg)

Also, it may just be a personal preference that is 100% truth and infallible, but Korean names are just fucking disgusting and hurt English translations.

>this manga

I feel like I've tapped into something deep inside myself I wasn't supposed to realize.

So this is what degeneracy feels like...

File: 8abe2a19ce4cee2⋯.png (277.17 KB, 536x718, 268:359, ClipboardImage.png)

Aww man.. I guess that means Eyebrow-chan is doomed to die.

I'm waiting for Gleipnir to finish being translated to start reading it, I've been following it for some time. I took interest in it mainly because I liked the author's art style. And it's probably his only manga I'm interested in.

Looks good.

I'm always looking forward to Hinamatsuri chapters. When Norway was translating it was talked about here on /a/, that's how I found out about it too.

Another series Norway dropped is Hatarakanai Futari. I still have hope that someone will pick it up.

Well fuck that ended quickly. How often does Geipinir update?

Also fun fact the name seemed familiar and I remembered what it's from: Gleinir is the name of a legendary chain holding back a wolf until the end of the world/Ragnarok. Not sure what sort of implications this has for the manga but that's a neat concept to keep in mind.

The latest update was from a week ago.. but the updates before that were in January.

This does not bode well. I'm hooked and I need to see where this shit goes.

Same. It's a really nice concept and honestly really appealing. Not to mention it's a hell of a cliffhanger. Really wish I knew moon so I could just read it raw.

I'll believe you when the next chapter comes out and she isn't magically brought back to life.

Which one?
