I have heard that you wish to stop moderating this board and would like to apply as the new mod.
As has been stated in some thread it was discussed we have to be careful, as not to get some SJW in this position since sadly a lot can be found in this community as well.
I did not actually want to moderate this board, however seeing as otherwise we might loose this board, which in my opinion has a lot of potential I am willing to step up.
I believe in self moderation, besides the global rules of course. So my approach to moderation would be to let any discussion/content be and let the people figure it out on their own as long as it is not clearly illegal or against the global rules.
I strongly believe in freedom of speech and thus any kind of discussion no matter how I stand towards it would be allowed. Only the limitations already mentioned would apply.
In short I just want to keep this place alive, and hold up the global rules, as to keep it alive and from being deleted.

I've never been admin or modded a board before, but I can't imagine there being to much to learn. As far as running the board, I wouldn't change anything, maybe ban that one retard, add some banners, but I'd leave everyone alone and just make sure this board stays active. The loose feel, without any formal rules is how I personally like it, and it's working out well on this board. The problem with spoiling pictures is that you have to open all of them in new tabs, wait for them to load and then you'll be able to completely see them, usually in a one by one manner.
With thumbnails, you can see lots of pictures in the same time and know, before opening it, if you'll like it or not.
So, do you think it's fair to make the less offended users do all this work just to enjoy some pictures, because some people have trouble using the hide feature?
