Hell isn't in the gospels anyway. The wages of sin are death, pure and simple. Eternal life through Christ or death through everything else. Hell was the ancient Christian way of trying to explain how bad nonexistance is and, somewhere along the way we forgot we were being allegorical.

Seriously, the word translated in the gospels as "hell" was a literal trash pit (Gehenna) and Christ said being full of sin was as bad as sitting in the trash pit - not some place you went after you died.

Depends, whose definition of God? God like Zeus? Logos? Jehovah?

What you want is an impossibility. Suffering drives improvement and expansion. It is necessary to the universe. Some accept their suffering and the sacrifice of God for us and live eternally. Others get all bitter about it and cease existing which is frankly what they wanted all along they just didn't have the balls to off themselves.

Be Christian and get busy living, or be atheist and get busy dying. It's up to you.
