these are my favorite cloth trainers, I only have the overnights (only ones in 42'' waist) but they have a microfiber soaker which is squishy (they used to use a harder towel like cloth) and they are easy to wash. as for effectiveness I can't really comment as I've only pee'd a couple of times which didn't leak. They used to have more colors like the smaller sizes but I guess cost wise it doesn't make sense to have variety for a niche product.

It's a medium on about a 30 waist

It's really comfy but I haven't used it yet

How tight is it? I'm about a 33 inch waist and am worried the large would be too large but the medium, too small.

The large starts at 36, so you're probably right about that. Especially if you're not going to grow anymore.

I think the medium would be tight on you but would fit okay.

You could always email them and ask though.
