Why does it seem like most ABDL stories/eroticas are much older than they seem? Were most written back in the 90s?

Well for stories that involve being diapered as a child or teenager, the author is likely to write it from the perspective they have on being a child or a teenager. So it'll feel pre-millenial.

Just a thought.

You are right. With my stories - From a boy's point of view; I write as if I was that person.

Mine are all based in the 21st Century.

Here's the link to my blog if you haven't seen it before:

Didn't a lot of them come from old usenet groups? That might count for something.

I suppose that people stopped writing now that visual material is easily obtainable.

Abdl is above the pedo boards nowadays, the fetish is becoming much more mainstream

The writing community is alive and well, but almost exclusively older people write.

That is especially true for the commonly acknowledged must read stories.

I feel a big influx of bad writers lately on the more public boards. Maybe an influx of the new mainstreamers?

I think it's a lost art that peaked years ago, there are still quality writers(mostly those from this very time), but little new blood in the quality department.

But with time comes experience so maybe in a few years we will have a new golden age?
