hellow people, I've bought my first pack of diapers - abena M2, and while I'm enjoying them (have messed and wet myself in public for the first time today actually) I feel like there's something "wrong" about them.

I got the M instead of the L size because according to abena's website I'm near the top limit for the M size and these were a bit cheaper, tho when messing the diaper doesn't have enough space for the whole thing, so the diaper blocks it and I can never really fully go.

Is this normal with every diaper (or possibly just with abena diapers) or I have chosen the wrong size?

yeah that's how it goes. the sizes are for wetting, not messing. a snug fit keeps you from leaking and stuff.

if your poop is really solid then you're kinda out of luck. i've had good success with eating a bit more fibery foods than usual and getting a nice doughy texture that spreads out instead of pushing back… try eating lots of wheat bread and whole grain stuff and see if that helps!

I have a question. I'm thinking about getting a couple of bags of Snuggies(Tykables) Overnights. I have about a 33" waist. Last year I got a sample of mediums and the tapes could barely get past my hips. Has the sizing changed any since launch? Should I go for a large?

I'm 32 in the waist…damn hips, but the bags with the 1 on them seem to fit a little snug, but they fit. They're pretty tight around the leg holes too, I'd get the 2s just for those reasons, and the ability to double up if you wanted.

Just experiment with mild stool softeners or changing your diet a little, you may also want to invest in some rash creams and maybe some scent-reducing supplements.

If it still doesn't go anywhere and you cant fully mess, then you may need to move up to the larges.
