HOly shit /abdl/
allow me to steer this in the DL side of things for a little
I am wearing my first one now and these are amazing. I was not expecting this
1)the plastic is soft yet durable, feels like a bambino
2) Very large capacity. I like to wear with boosters and this is on par if not beyond the M4s
3) Wide in the middle between the legs
I know some wont like that but I love it, because it makes me waddle. Almost like a snuggies waddler but at half the price
4) The price is that of a medical diaper yet feels like a play diaper
Seriously, I bought these things on positive reviews and I am shocked
I was a M4 and Bellissimo kind of guy but i think these will now take place of the M4
So this is my first review and its great
Anyone want to review diapers as well?
If this thread dies ill continue but I felt like I had to share this bc these are so new

No.2406

Anywhooo, on to a review of these bad boys
pros:
1) Cutest diaper I have ever seen
2) Besides the cute design, the construction resembles bby diaps
3) Can hold a lot….
Cons:
1) Can hold a lot but often wont due to distribution of absorbing material
2) The single tapes are authentic, at the cost of functionality. Further reduces ability to hild wettings
3) $$$ Like all play diaps, these are a little more expensive
I would find the prices, however it appears the organization is under reconstruction
verdict: Great play diaps, but look somewhere else for full wettings
these are the abuniverse signatures btw

>>2398I would like to add:
I am now wearing their cloth backed version(they included some freebies with my order!) and they are also pretty good
main difference is the cloth specific tapes that im not a fan of.
I also saw a northshore rep on the dailydiaps forum, that leads me to believe that these may be made with the ABDl crowd in mind.
One could hope at least.

As soon as my mom's family is gone i'm gonna do a review of Tena Slip Maxis, but here's a prelimnary review:
Pros:
Plastic backing is AWESOME
Holds urine like iron powder attracting to a magnet!
Not too thick when dry, but swells up like hell when wet
Made in Sweden because "MUH VOLVOS"
Tapes are great
Cons:
Tends to leak with wet poo or when doing enemas
Slightly noisy because of the plastic backing
And something I don't really like about the design: the light purple dots. I'll take Abena's M4 design over that any day.
All in all: a great medical diaper by the Swedes.
Would I buy them again? Maybe. Next time i'm going either M4s or Molicares. Or maybe those of the OP if shipping isn't probithly expensive.

Alright so I got awwsocute diapers a while back and they were comparable to a bambino. I recently got some more and found a completely different diaper. It's way thinner and the tapes are smaller yet they seem to hold just fine (your mileage may very, they seem to fit my body pretty well). when used with a booster it actually can last me 6-10 hours if I don't drink tons of fluids. I drink maybe around 4-6 water bottles worth of water on a regular day. Overall not bad, but bambino is still way better. But with their sales it's almost a deal, it's just that shipping is absolutely insane.

They're pretty comfortable and can stand up to a fair bit of punishment, but they feel very lightweight and kind of cheap. The absorbent material isk ind of loose and breaks into clumps after awhile. The tapes hold securely, so securely that they won't come off without tearing off the material. Fortunately they're one of those double backed tapes, so if you need to reposition them you get a second chance per tape. They're also nice and easy to wear in public.
There are better diapers but they're still better than depends.

The guy there was very understanding, and even gave me two free samples! One of some pull-ups, one of some premium briefs I wanna try with someone I met online once.
But in general, a great experience buying. They stock bambinos in a physical store so I'll be back as soon as my next paycheck clears. Roommates be damned, I'm getting some Bambino Teddies from a brick-and-mortar!! Not to mention abenas and such.
10/10 experience, will go again. Dunno anything about the online component, but the people there care!

Bought two bags of the Shoppers (Canadian Pharmacy) store brand. Got two bags of 22 for $3 each. I thought that no matter how bad they could be there's no way I'm passing up 44 diapers for $6.
Diapers were plastic backed and super crinkly. Easily the loudest I've ever had my hands on. They had the standard 4 tape set-up and had elastic waistbands and leg gathers. The padding was on the thinner side. No markings on the diapers other than a single yellow wetness indicator.
Absorbancy was not great. I'm near the border of medium and small for most brands (30 inch waist), with small being preferable. However, I rarely see smalls in stock outside of Tena max absorbancy pull–ups (which I love), so I usually go with mediums. With these the issue was that they were a bit to large so I had a tendency to leak out of the leg gathers unless it was taped on in a precise way. I'm sure if I had found the smalls I wouldn't have this issue. The padding was able to withstand one normal wetting if flooded, but with a stuffer (a single 5t pull-up) it was able to hold around 3 good wettings. I think the issue is that it is able to hold a good amount of liquid but it needs to be taken slowly, and the absorption rate is rather slow.
The only real issue I had was a sizing problem and I can't blame the diaper for that. At ~14 cents a diaper I can't really complain. These are great for anyone wants cheap crinkles.
Crinkles: 10/10
Thickness: 3/10
Absorption: 3/10 (7/10 with a stuffer)
Price: 10/10
Overall: 6.5/10

A review of Abena's M4 coming up:
Pros:
Plastic backing FTW
Holds urine even better than Tena's Maxi.
Pretty thick.
Tapes stick like glue*
Doesn't leak as much as Tena's Maxi.
Quieter than Tenas strangely enough.
Cons:
Tapes are so strong they rip the plastic off, so you can't retighten them.
Leak very slightly when flooding, but what diaper does NOT leak when you empty a full bladder in it instantly?
All in all: Great for messing, not so much for wetting imo.
Would I buy more of them? Heck fucking yes, that everyone raves about the M4's is justified, it's a amazing allround diaper.

Pros:
Plastic backing is VERY silent IMO.
Wide in the middle
Tapes are like the M4s: sticky as superglue.
Made in Germany apparently.
Cons:
Like any other diaper, they don't really like flooding.
Slightly tight in the crotch and penis area.
All in all: Great for wetting, haven't tried messing and I only had 1 to try.
Would I buy more of them? If I had the cash to burn: sure.
And if I hadn't: Maybe, M4s are the winner atm, followed by Molicares.

Due to glycerin's properties as a solvent, it's ideal for extracting the active compounds out of marijuana dry plant material. It can achieve saturation in a much shorter time than ethanol and doesn't require being heated to expedite the process.
It can also be used with other plants containing drugs or aromatic compounds to capture their flavours/effects, including tobacco(as used in e-cigs), or thyme(as used in cooking or in a vapouriser for relaxation effects)
I wasn't aware until you mentioned it that it's also a laxative(when taken as a suppository), but then again, most alcohols are laxatives when taken that way so it makes sense.

Alright /abdl/, I've been on a binge recently, and it's time to tell you about it. I'll start off with something that's not a diaper and move on from there.
The dress is from Binkies n Bows on Ebay. The specific dress is http://www.ebay.com/itm/Adult-Baby-Sissy-Vintage-Style-Minty-Green-Dress-Set-Binkies-n-Bows-/151222413266?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item23358ee7d2 but I got a sash, a longer skirt length (36 inches) and a toddler-style bodice. It took a long time for Carol to make the dress as I'm assuming she's swamped with orders, but she was really nice. The dress itself is less green than the listing, but that was OK. The sash I can take or leave, it's OK for tying a bow in front or in the back or something. The lace is a little bit itchy, but otherwise the dress and diaper cover fit like a charm. It's sturdy, been through the wash and some roughousing. Fabric isn't anything to phone home about, but you're not going to get silk or something. The diaper cover is just cloth/elastic, but you can get it made with PUL lining from Carol's store.
Next, the stuff I bought from Baby Pants. The onesie is great. Comfy as fuck, the snaps are great, and it's cute. It DOES shrink in the wash, but don't forget that the shrinkage is offset by the fabric having some stretching to it. All told, I think I should have gotten a smaller size, but it was close enough that it wasn't a problem. (A woman's one-piece swimsuit will do the same job of holding a diaper in place, by the way.)
The training pants were made of the same kind of fabric, soft and nice. These didn't shrink too much in the wash, and I got them a size too large, but it's pretty much what you would expect from cloth training pants. They are actually fairly bulky. They don't hold much liquid and will leak without plastic pants. Speaking of which…
I like the plastic pants from Baby Pants more than the plastic pants from XP Medical. These ones were great. The cloth diapers were a little small, I think. The measurements are listed on their site, so measure yourself before you order and be sure you can get a towel of that size to fit comfortably and securely both under your crotch and around your waist. The pins are huge, but sturdy like they need to be. The pacifier (Baby Pants Classic) was OK. There was no hole for air in the pacifier (you can drill one yourself), and I'm not so sure about the silicone nipple. Felt a little dry.

A little more regarding cloth diapers: it's pretty much a towel that you pin on. It doesn't swell, it doesn't absorb a lot, and it will obviously leak. Not sure exactly what you're looking for, but that's what it is. I wasn't too thrilled.
As far as actual diapers go…
The top left is the Always Discreet pull-on. Always is a brand made by Procter & Gamble, the same megacorp that owns the Pampers brand and the LeakGuards trademark. These diapers are pretty much a baby diaper core in an adult pull-on shell. They have a fragrance to them, but it feels a little misplaced on a pull-on. The leak guards are good, and the diaper itself is surprisingly absorbent. It will take one wetting and will swell nicely. Not so sure about the cloth cover, but it is what it is. If you have a penis, make sure it's pointing down, not up, or you will leak. Otherwise, it's pretty OK. Found these at a Walgreens, surpringly.
Top center is the Walgreens (CVS) Certainty briefs. Low capacity (one maybe two wettings). I actually like the tapes on these, since they are velcro-like and can be reattached many times. These have no leak guards. All told, I would only recommend these for one thing: wearing three of them at a time (with slits cut on the inside ones so they can all drain through). These are cheap, and I don't feel as wasteful wearing a bunch of these at once compared to something more pricey. Wearing three will give you a good waddle.
Top right is the Seni Quatro from XPMedical. I'm not really sure what to think of these, since I got them a size too large, but they seem to be OK if you like cloth-backed. They have standing leak guards inside and elastic bands on the top. The tapes are kind of meh (they are double), the capacity is pretty good (three wettings maybe) and they don't swell much, but when it's cloth-backed, it's REALLY cloth-backed. They also have a very fleeting fragrance that I can quite name. Jury's out on these ones, I'm not too sure if these are bad or good. Bought from XPMedical.
Bottom left is the XPMedical. These are probably my go-to diapers for the price. If you bought them before, they've since been upgraded to double-tapes (the exact same ones that are on the ConfiDry Dry 24/7). Plastic-backed, no standing leak guards, but the only times I've had these leak is when they're over capacity, which is three good wettings. XPMedical ships with FedEx so you can request a Hold at Location from FedEx once you have the tracking number. These are good.
Bottom second-from-the-left are the ConfiDry Dry 24/7. Standing leak guards, elastic waistband, excellent capacity (four wettings), good plastic. Not sure what to take points off for. Bought these from XPMedical.
Bottom third-from-the-left are the Rearz Inspire. I actually think that these one-up the ConfiDrys. Capacity-wise, the Inspire are crazy absorbent. Four or five wettings. The clear plastic landing strip is cool, but is offset by the tapes being singles. Standing leak guards. Bought these from AB Universe since they are in the USA and not Canada, and everything turned out fine. I know there was some drama with ABU not shipping orders, but I had no problems with the new owners.
last is the Abena Abri-Form M4. These have been discussed to death, but still deserve a mention for being great diapers. Double tapes, leak guards, and their unique design. I'd put their capacity in the same range as the XPMedical A+ diapers. I like their fit.

Just chiming in to say that Tena Supers are hands down the worst diaper I've ever used.
>not at all discreet
>but not as absorbent as thick diapers usually are to make up for it
>slow to absorb
>gel material is used, so it's squishy and releases liquid when wet (or worse, messy)
>no leak guards wtf
>instead of leak guards, it's just wider in the legs so it makes you walk funny
>special snowflake sizing so there's no small size, and their medium starts where every other brand's medium has its median
>velcro tapes don't have aggressive
>tapes are secured to the wings with french space magic so they just up and fall off sometimes
>no elastics at the front or rear making for a loose fit around the waist if the tapes dont' extend far enough (which they either don't on an M, or will go too far over on an L)
I'm sure there's more to say but i can't think of it right now. Basically, avoid these. Some consider them to be the best of the brands you can easily find in stores; I say they're easily the worst.

Not that guy, but am I alone in disliking the ab-oriented diapers for not having wetness indicators?
It just seems not as satisfying to not have some big printed line fade to blue and eventually disappear. I also feel like being colorful and having thick, opaque plastic backing kinda diminishes the clinical feeling and makes it harder to visibly tell when they're wet/messy.

Before I get into the review, I feel that it is worth mentioning that the Depend "Protection with Tabs" that I currently have are the only non ABDL diapers I've worn, and also mark the second time that I've purchased diapers of any kind (my first diapers were the regular Waddlers, which I absolutely loved). I'll do my best to review the Depend Protection with Tabs. I'll separate everything into categories.
The tapes:
These diapers have six refastenable tapes (three on each side). Of the four diapers I've used from the pack (including the one I'm wearing now), I've had trouble with the bottom tapes popping off on two of the diapers, and have had to use scotch tape to keep them in place. It is entirely possible that I didn't put them on properly though
Thickness:
The diapers aren't very thick, but they're not so thin that you'll forget it's there either. I haven't really gotten to find out how much they can swell up without leaving because I want to avoid leaks.
Absorbency:
They can handle a pretty decent amount of wetting, at least from what I can tell
Noise:
I actually think these crinkle more than the Waddlers. If you like an audible reminder that you're wearing special underwear, these diapers are great for that.
No.9499
>>9480
I actually prefer depends to any other diapers available at a pharmacy.
>absorbency
They absorb a fair bit and swell a lot. The tapes tend to pop actually because of this effect, I think; I got a lot of popped tapes too, but never before wetting them a bunch. They're not a premium play diaper or anything, but they do mean it when they say "maximum absorbency". If I were going 24/7 or had a bedwetting problem or whatever, I'd gladly use these as my everyday brief.

I don't know about DC Armors, but it's not hard to add custom printed designs to almost any disposable diaper using just an A4 sticky label and some clear sticky plastic. You have a lot more choice over designs, including stuff like the Pampers logo or licensed characters which can't be put on normal ABDL diapers.

Has anybody tried the RCD's from qualitydiapers.net? Im starting to consider it…
That being said, im not sure that if I decide that I want to, if I would feel comfortable doing so from a moral standpoint. It is a product that is made entirely for a non-fetish use. they go so far as to have a discreet, but very blunt picture on the bottom of their main page that has an "X" going through an "AB". if you look at the code for the website, the picture is titled "AB not welcome here". This may be reinforcing the legitimate intention of the models, but they probably also intend it to mean that they dont want anything to do with us, and that is 100% understandable. Of course there is no way they could ever possibly know if I did buy from them, and thats not what Im worried about. As weird as this sounds, it almost seems wrong to betray the trust/intention/purpose of the company/product/clients etc, etc… In other words, it seems a bit wrong to use something that is meant to help kids as a fetish item…
Does anybody else get that kind of feeling, or am I just making a big deal out of nothing in my head?

I'm 99% sure that the reason they put the no-ABDL sign on their site is because they don't want to be seen hiring kids to pose in underwear for a fetish-related site. They want to distance themselves as much as possible from the ABDL community so that they don't get accused of anything.
I imagine they'd have absolutely no issues with ABDLs buying their product so long as you don't openly state that you're buying them to satisfy your fetish. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if they were ABDLs themselves.
There is no reason to feel bad about buying their product.

Super absorbent diapers like Bambinos are kind of excessive. I mean the appeal is obvious, but you're not supposed to sit around in the same diaper all day, as much as carers would love that. For the same reasons that people think the site seems suspicious:
They make a big deal out of their catalogs which are updated monthly and seem to mainly consist of pictures of teenagers modeling their diapers. Those catalogs are only available if you order from them, which seems odd.
The diapers look more like ABDL diapers than discreet medical products, and I can't imagine any kid with a bedwetting problem wanting to wear ones with a printed landing zone.
Their site seems to have a few suspiciously specific denials on it such as the "NO ABDLs" sign and "Quality Diapers hires professional photographers and modeling agencies. Parents attend photo shoots and allow the use of these photos to be shown." on their photos page.
It's just a hunch and I have no concrete proof. Either way I don't think they're doing anything wrong.

Not sure of your situation vis-à-vis getting noticed by other people since you'll be at a party, but the M4 could hold practically anything you throw at it for a several hour period. I'm self-conscious as fuck, even though I know that's true when I look in the mirror at how hidden the diapers are. I should just try taking some cute pictures or something and putting them in the OC thread. Might help me learn to relax, though the idea terrifies me.

With an M4? Friend, you'll have to be wizz master to manage that unless you're out for six hours or something. Spend some time with it before you go out and get an idea of the capacity. Beer and diapers are a match made in heaven, even if I've only done it from the comfort of my quiet lonely home.

I had an interesting experience today with Depends Tabs. I avoid depends like a plague as I heard that all their diapers were shit. However, I went to wal-mart and saw them for only 11 dollars. I was assuming they'd be total garbage, but whatever.
They really surpassed my expectations, that's for sure. But by all means there are much better brands out there.
pro's:
-They can hold a great amount of urine or mess, though I'm sure other brands out there would still beat it
-They have that diaper feel
-Wetness indicator
-makes you waddle
-Really big and actually make me feel like a baby
-You can go to just about any store and get them compared to the other brands.
Cons:
- They are not that padded and rather thin. I don't like a diaper where you can clearly see my bulge. Probably better double-diapered
- When you wet, you can see the urine from the cover. Which I don't like

What annoys me is the tapes suck. You can only use them one time and often time you can't adjust them because they sometimes end up taking a chunk of the plastic cover with them when you unstick it.
That's why I prefer the CVS/Walgreens brands, because at least you can adjust the tapes.

FUCK.
Great fit, good capacity, interesting pattern, but the clothlike material sweats even worse than most other diapers that use the stuff. Pretty bad odor control, too, probably also because of the cloth material. It has all the Nice Features you'd expect of a modern diaper – good fit, functional leak guards, elastic waistband, etc – but they seem to have forgotten the part where it's supposed to protect your bed/pants from being pissed on/shit in. I guess if you change frequently, it'll be fine, but in that case go for the lower-capacity versions. You're not gonna fully wet a Maxi before it starts leaving moist spots everywhere.
I'd been using samples that were plastic-backed "regular" capacity before buying a pack of the "maxi"s, and those samples were pretty much perfect briefs. If you can find this brand without the "breathable" bit, they're fantastic. But the cloth backing is so bad that it ruins the whole thing. And I say this as someone who doesn't normally mind cloth-backed diapers.

They don't. The numbers that companies put out is so fucking skewed and has no realistic application to normal wear. All this bitching back and forth between the companies and the people buying their products always leaves me laughing because they obviously have this solid research backing up their statements, but none of that research actually puts its findings into practice, which is a completely different ballpark. It's like they don't realize that an AB product, something that's going to be worn by active people in their daily lives and sexual activities, isn't the same as a medical incontinence product that's meant to be worn by bedridden patients. Sure that 5L is POSSIBLE, but is it likely given the people who are wearing them? Fuck no.
They ARE, however, just as absorbent in practice as Bellissimos, perhaps equal to Comficares, and are noticeably thicker than both. They're solid af and worth the buy if you like thick diapers imo.

Last week I got a new case of dry 24.7's from XP medical. The tapes are bigger and seem to have better adhesive. the padding looks to be exactly the same thickness but feels more stiff then the last case of them. the outside of the diaper feels slightly rough but not anything too drastic.
All in all I think these dry 24/7's are improved in just the right area while not degrading in quality elsewhere.
Think the case broke down to like 1.55-1.65 USD per diaper and thats with like 10-12 bucks in California sales tax and shipping. (Free shipping, but that cost is obiviously worked in.)
I also used one ABU Space diaper out of my pack of ten. They are extremely good. Highly recommend them if you want prints/bedtime diaper.

I haven't tried messing them, but they seem more than adequate.
You might want to reinforce the tapes with some duck tape or something, because when they swell up the tapes can sometimes pop off.

Depends: They're good, I promise!
First, the usual:
>Surprising absorbency for the size/thickness.
>Very good wicking on the padding, so all of it gets used.
>Elastic waistband at both the front and back for a good and good looking fit.
>Highly leak resistant due to tall standing leak guards that are actually placed correctly; even liquid press-out is fairly well contained.
>Fairly thin, so it's discreet enough for everyday wear, but might turn off people into thickness. Likewise, they don't swell that much either.
>Noisy and crinkly, for those who are into that. It also has a faint medicinal smell.
>Pretty teal blue trim! But the rest of it is pretty plain compared to euro brands.
>Doesn't double up well or act nicely as a stuffer; liquid tends to pool and eventually leak from the sides of the first brief and not make it through.
>TAPES POP OFF AT THE DROP OF A FUCKING HAT AND BARELY STICK IN THE FIRST PLACE FFFFFFFFFF
However, because I am totally an expert at materials science, I found that it's not the tapes themselves, but whatever else the diaper is made of. The plastic has a strange powdery surface to it that seems to interfere with the glue on the tapes; adding stronger tape to form a landing zone for for the brief's own tapes to properly latch onto fixes the problem almost completely. Pictured is me doing it with some cheap packing tape I got at the dollar store. It also fixes the problem of the briefs looking a little bland if you have printed stuff around.

Yes, I've tried a sample. Wore them in an ABDL friend's pool. To be on the safe side, it was the day before he drained it. It was quite an interesting experience.
At first glance, they look like any other adult pullup, but with the blue center, and the waist is higher. They aren't as soft as most pullups when dry. Sizes run small; I have a 36 inch waist and usually wear large sized adult diapers, but a small was the best fit for me with the swimmates. Medium worked too, but didn't feel as secure.
First, I wet a little bit outside of the pool, just to make sure that they can absorb urine. They can safely contain a full wetting. Next, I jumped in. They swell up, but not ridiculously so. It feels really cool to have it thicken around the crotch. I swam around for about 15 minutes, testing their integrity, doing freestyle and breaststroke. Then I got out. They drooped, but still functioned. I peed a little more, and amazingly, they held the pee. It was basically like a pair of plastic pants- not absorbed, but contained in the diaper.
Then I went back in the water for the real test. Messing in the pool was easy and amazing. The poop spread out really easily and filled the diaper without any pushing. I again got out of the pool. It drooped all right, but with my swimsuit, it wasn't ridiculously noticeable. Were I in public, someone would have to know to look for the droop under my swimsuit. I went back in the water and swam a few laps. There was no leakage at all. I could've kept going, but I didn't want to risk a UTI, so I got out. Changing was the trickiest part. The sides aren't very easy to tear away. I sat on the toilet with the diaper on. My friend used scissors to cut them open, I stood up, and then I just let the poop drain out into the toilet. Cleanup after that was surprisingly easy. I changed into the medium, and was good to go!

the bambinos bellisimo and dry 24/7s are both exactly what youre looking for. I dont have any experience with the snuggies overnights

No.15054
>>15052
Dry 24/7s are decently thick, but Bambino Bellissimos, as well as most "premium" ABDL diapers (Rearz, ABU's newer stuff), are slightly thicker. We're talking fractions of a centimeter here, so unless you absolutely, positively have to have the thickest disposable pantaloons on the market without resorting to stuffers or booster pads, you'd probably be better off ordering whatever's cheapest/easiest for you to acquire.
Unless they've changed since the "Tykables" rebranding, Overnight Snuggies are actually pretty thin (about as thin as SDK/Cushies and a lot of non-ABDL diapers) but they have a pretty good capacity and swell a lot when wet. Kinda remind me of actual babby diapers in that regard, so if that's your thing and you can work out how to set the tapes just right they might be a good buy.
I'm pretty partial to Bellissimos myself, but Snuggies Tykables Overnights are slightly cheaper if you buy at least two bags. Dry 24/7s, as with most non-ABDL product, will probably be the cheapest option if you don't mind the lack of prints.
Of course, if it's sheer bulk you're looking for, cloth can't be beat. Cheaper in the long run as well, but expensive up front and cleaning can will be a pain. The necessity of plastic pants unless you go with all-in-ones may or may not be a plus depending on how crinkly you like your absorbent underoos.

I'm going off what others have told me, not what the seller advertises. Wish I could try them myself to give an actual value on capacity, but I'm not too keen on shelling out that much for padding right now… Or ever, for that matter.
A good rule of thumb with ABDL diapers is to take whatever capacity the site advertises and cut it in half, then you'll have a number that's much closer to the actual/practical capacity. Medical supply sites tend to be slightly more truthful in that regard, but a certain amount of embellishment is still to be expected.
But yeah, 6 litres is insane. There's no way a diaper could hold 6 lbs of liquid without falling apart, let alone the 12 they imply! I can't tell if they just pull numbers out of their asses or if they've got some sort of arcane testing method that is incapable of being replicated under normal circumstances.

Lovin' this thread and its participants' involved recommendations! It's been over a decade since I've let go of diapers, but now my awakening adbl-side is in the market for them. I've noticed, however, that they are often expensive as fuck when ordering online (Canadian here)
I would like a little input! Looking over amazon.ca, I've come across these okay-priced options for me:
-Abena Abri-Form Premium Brief, Small, S2, 28 Count, $32.92
-Abena Abri-Form Premium Brief, Small, S4, 22 Count, $29.11
-Abena Delta Form Brief, Medium, M3, 15 Count, $21.74
-Tena Super Briefs Medium, 14 Count, $13.77
Hum, is there one of these you guys would recommend to me in particular? I'm not sure what my preferences are so far, for now I'd just like to have that comfy diaper-ish feeling down there and, well, I like wetting myself so that's also a factor :3 As for the fabric, I don't mind if it's noisy I suppose, as long as it doesn't mind being wet. Would love to wear during the day when I have privacy, and maybe experiment going to bed with a full-bladder. Also I'm a 5'7'' tall guy weighing around 140 lbs, so I'm a fairly skinny, hairy little man, for reference.
Obviously Amazon has mainly a lot of Abenas, and as I understand it, the S4 holds more liquid than the S2? Also, judging by this board in general, the M3 seems like a solid choice in quality and for wetting? I haven't listed the Depend brand, but there's several options of them too and they seem decently-priced. Are they any good?

Well really, you're going to have to do a bit of experimentation yourself to find what you like. Most of the abena products offered these days are cloth-backed, which has their pros and cons.
For me, like many others I prefer the plastic backed designs generally speaking but they're not as bad as some might say. The cloth-backed Abena S4/M4's are actually quite comfy and hold quite a bit. Also, they're virtually silent under clothes so you can easily wear around others without them hearing you. That said, the biggest downside I have for them are that they suck at holding in smell. If you are wet, you will smell it. The S3/M3 line is just a thinner, less absorbant version.
As for other places to order, google Bambino diapers, abuniverse, tykables for more specialist products, you can read some reviews in this thread about the different products. XPMedical is my go-to place when ordering the more 'mundane' diapers so you might go there and check out their selection.

So, I went with the S4 for starters. I'll eventually try out the plastic-backed ones, if I want things to get more crinkly :3 Thanks guys
