Has anyone tried them? Since i'm running low on Tena Slips I thought of spending lodsofemone on some good cloth diapers.

What should I look out for? Tips for wearing them?

Washing them shouldn't be a problem, I got a dedicated washing machine for ABDL/work/grease smeared laundry.

Pic unrelated, my laptop's AC adapter is ded, so I can't access my porn collection.

I bought a bunch of stuff and I'm going to do some reviews in the review thread, but to answer your question…

I got some two cloth diapers from Baby Pants. Basically, they are just moderately thick cloths. You have to pin them on, and you have to figure out how to do so in a way that doesn't leave the pins exposed to your sides, which will hurt if you're diapered up tight. I've got a ~42 inch waist, and found it difficult to get the X-large cloth diapers on. You can use those snappiez things and they might be better, but I can't speak from experience about them. Seems like it might be a bit uncomfortable if you have a penis.

They are nowhere near as absorbent as disposable diapers, and unless you want to leak you need to wear plastic pants. I like the plastic pants I got from Baby Pants more than the one I got a while back from XP Medical. The diaper pins from Baby Pants are also fucking huge holy shit. They really are an appropriate size for adult cloth diapers, you're not going to be able to pin any kind of cloth diapers with regular pins. Forget it and get the adult pin versions.

Wetting them with the plastic pants was alright. Nothing too thrilling. It felt a lot more wet than disposables which absorb and lock-in moisture which may be a good or a bad thing, depending on what you want. A lot warmer, and a lot more spread out wetness. I had to take the plastic pants off in the shower to avoid getting piss everywhere. You have to wash them promptly, otherwise they start reeking to unholy hell rather quickly – maybe this is obvious, but it's a fair warning.

Since I like the swelling I get from disposable diapers, I don't think I'll go back to cloth again. It's more work for something less rewarding, I feel. I'll probably re-purpose the sheets as shop towels or something. But, hey, opinions.

Fuck, might have to put the cloth diapers idea in the fridge /dev/zero then.

Off to the Diaper Reviews topic it is then, I got around 4-5 Slips remaining and after that there will be a period of no wearing it seems.

To be fair, it might be because of the 42" waist that the fit was awkward. I tried some before which fit fine on my 34" waist.

They are less absorbent though, so you should be looking at boosters and plastic pants if you want to go beyond just a couple of wettings. I would agree that disposables are probably more enjoyable, but cloth aren't terrible

 No.5988

Cloth diapers have a distinctly different smell when wet. If you were cloth diapered as a baby, the nostalgia while hit you right away. Piss on cotton smells heavenly compared to piss on plastic. Also, there's a slippery softness to cotton that is only replicated by the best adult diapers (Fabines). As for swelling, they swell a little but it's true that disposables are better for that.

I use cloth-diapers with additional diaper-inserts sometimes.

I love the thickness and the fact that you can just wash them in your machine.

what cloth-diapers is anon using?

I bought pink pull-up-cloth-diaper from

here once

http://ohwe.de/

but these were pull-ups.

Looking now for some babyish cloth-diapers.

if wetting is your thing you may not like cloth, it does have a sort of cleanup requirement which is made harder by trying to be discreet.

However as an anon that likes to wear primarily and wet occaissionally, nothing beats cloth for thickness. I like the birdseye from rearz and the plastic and rubber pants from fetwear(as they are the only ones that seem to do large thighs on a regular waist right [damn Olympian sprinter legs])

I also wear SuperUndies pullups aio, these are awesome trading pants and have been my goto more often now. They look like the toddler version and are really soft and comfortable.

For what it's worth, baby-pants cloth supplies are pretty shit. If you want quality diapers, not to mention plastic pants that won't tear after a couple months of use, buy from adultclothdiaper.com or babykins.com(specifically recommend kins tbh). If you don't care for pins and wanna make the diapering process as simple as disposables, buy cloth diapers with velcro fastening. You can just use regular, non-velcro, prefolds as stuffers and get massive absorbency out of them. Not to mention a massive toddler waddle :3 A couple medium weight prefolds under a velcro diaper can pretty easily last you the day. If you like bulk, they're at least worth the try.

All that being said, like the other guy mentions, cloth is SO much fucking work. Disposables are about a billion times more convenient(no washing/drying/folding, no diaper pail smelling stupidly strong, no MASSIVE waddle, able to be worn in public, etc.) and, IMO, feel better when wet or messy.

you could use Snappy, if you don't like the pins.

Also there are button-like-fix-systems on some

and some have velcro fastener

Isn't cloth a pain in the ass to clean though?

 No.11308

>>11307

Eh. Washer, drier, and a little bit of bleach works perfectly fine.

 No.11310

>>11308

What about poopy ones?

 No.11311

>>11310

That's the reason for the bleach XD Really though, they just get stained. Running them through the wash does actually clean them thoroughly. If it's something you plan on doing often though, I know a few people who use disposable liners (or actually just use a thin disposable as the innermost layer) to keep the mess away from the cloth. Something like these: http://www.northshorecare.com/diapers/boosters1/boosters-contour.html

 No.11322

while on this subject can someone suggest me a good place to buy a onesie? i feel it would complete the ensemble nicely

 No.11324

>>11322

I like babykins for plain ones and they have some cute prints too(but you have to email them about which ones they have). For cute/AB ones, I usually like http://www.ebay.com/sch/mslorainex/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=

 No.11337

Bleach is bad for cloth diapers, yo. It'll slowly fuck up the absorbancy, irritate the hell out of your skin, and totally ruin PUL if you are going for an AIO or pocket diaper. Ideally, you find a place you can let them dry out in the sun, cause that'll break down the stains.

 No.11338

>>11337

Wat, really? Haven't had any problems with using it on my current set(~9 months old). It's literally just a little splash that I use though, so maybe not enough to start irritating skin? Will definitely look into that though.

 No.11339

Definitely not a fan of cloth diapers. I've tried quite a few sorts, and I can recommend none. They are just worse than disposables. However, I still need them as diaper covers due to the steadily decreasing quality of disposable diapers.

 No.11340

>>11338

Most of the guides I've seen written for the care of ones used for children say to stay away from it most of the time cause it slowly breaks down the fibers.

However, most of that advice comes from people who are expecting to wash cloth diapers every other day, so the wear and tear of washing, and the build up of residue and breakdown of fibers is likely to be accentuated.

 No.11341

>>11340

That actually may explain it much more aptly. While I am 24/7, I primarily use disposables. Cloth is an every once in a while sort of thing for me, or occasionally a nightly thing for a week or two. Getting time to settle and dry may downplay the effects of bleaching. Still, thanks for letting me know! I don't mind the stains too much anyways so I'll likely just stop using bleach lol.

got some pink cloth-pullups here

http://www.saveexpress.de

maybe 3 years ago.

They don't sell them anymore. :-(

I love wearing them, because you don't sweat in them while having some nice thickness between your legs.

I only wet them, when I put a diaper-insert in it and a PVC-Diaper-cover.

They really don't hold much.

(pic unrelated. Wish there were more like this for adults!)

or (pic related) but with cotton all over? So you don't have the PVC on your skin?

there's baby-pants training pants (site looks sketch but is legit) there's is like thick underwear no waterproofing

and Super Undies, which I highly recommend. It has pul outer and microfiber inner layers, just look under special needs and you should know which subcategory to select

if I may, my favorite cloth diapers have been from ali-express

they also have snaps all across the front, and are self very stuffable.

http://www.aliexpress.com/item/free-shipping-Pororo-plain-color-waterproof-adult-cloth-diaper-for-teenager-reusable-big-size-cloth-diaper/32267686184.html?ws_ab_test

you should pry get the inserts from elsewhere though. I can never tell if they'll be sending the soft cotton or the less comfortable-bamboo made inserts .-.

they also have a just-adults website with a few more options: adultclothdiaperme.com

the leg and waist bands are covered in fleece and the microfiber is somewhat squishy and not super hard, which is nice.

But paying 80 - 180 bucks for ONE of them…

What delusional, greedy fucktard pooped into their heads?
