Anyone here into video games? Console? PC? Which ones do you play? Which ones suck/are a waste of money?

I'm not much of a PC gamer, but I have a PS3 and PS4(though I haven't touched my PS3 since buying my PS4).

I play a lot of GTA V and am trying to get into Metal Gear Solid V.

Stoked for Star Wars: Battlefront and the newest Need For Speed.

Despite a lot of people seeming to hate it, I like the main storyline for Battlefield: Hardline. Haven't played online, though.

Pic unrelated.

You're on 8chan, on a board designated for lonely, sexually deprived men.

I assume about 95% of the people here play games on a regular basis.

Lately I've just been playing PC games. Reading /r/civbattleroyale on reddit has made me start playing Civ 5 again. Also, just beat the first chapter of King's Quest. Want to play Transistor soon. Looking forward to Fallout 4 coming out in November. Debating getting Rocket Leauge.

Reddit is understandably considered an SJW cesspit around here but pretty much everyone visits it off and on. We have a thread on here about the the ABDL subreddit after all.

I stopped playing video games in 2007, I sold my xbox to save and buy a 360 but that never happen, also around that era all the magazines and and TV shows about vidya disappeared and moved over to the internet and I never catched up with that but while I was away shit grew large and out of nowhere I'm being hit with people talking about Steam, indie games and retro games every where.

I started to watch LPs, reviews and such and only earlier this year I got a generic joystick and started to play with emulators. I still have lots of shit to play and get updated with and I feel really sad because I only have like 20 minutes per day to play so I feel I will never catch up.

Right now I'm playing Mario & Luigi Super Star Saga, lots of fun

Metroid 2 because is the only sidescrolling Metroid I never tried

Earlier this years I tried lots of different thing and sunk really deep into Mario Vs Donkey Kong but I quited just before the end because the difficulty grew too much for me, the ealy levels were cool but the spike was nonsensical.

I also tried Wario Land but I rage quited when I got stuck and the game cuts half of your money when you get a game over.

Kirby's Dreamland was the first game I finished since Silent Hill 4 back in '07.

I want to get a job so I can buy a separated PC for gaming, an xbox controller and a steam account. I also want to step out of my gameboy confort zone.

Fetish related I'm a Daddy Dom that already accepted I will be forever alone

Mainly PC Gamer, but I have an XBOX acc't, an N64, a SNES, a Gamecube, and a NES I barely play anymore. Play a lot of ARK: Survival Reloaded and Fallout 3/New Vegas.

 No.11597

I've got a PS4 with (in terms of multiplayer games) GTA V, Bloodborne, Destiny but not the latest expansion yet, and Killzone: Shadow Fall if people still play that. In addition to that, I also play some PC games whenever I have the time and actually feel like playing games. I'm going to avoid listing all 203 titles on my Steam library and just list 5 random multiplayer titles; Verdun, Dawn of War (all of the games), Starbound, Supreme Commander, aaaaaand I'll put Left 4 Dead 2 here. I'm currently saving up money between college and kink stuff to upgrade my desktop so I can run Vermintide, should hopefully be able to actually run the game at least halfway through November.

So was looking through the healslut thread on /v/ and anons were describing how things were completely wrong with this meme.

They basically said that Healers were the most paternal like class out there and the Tanks were like babies cared for by the healers.

It went like this:

>Tanks starting out need someone to look after them

>A good healer is there to hand hold them most of the way, making sure that if they fall someone is there to catch them

>A good healer tends to keep the party together like a motherly/fatherly figure

>Eventually the tank they are looking after starts to grow up to the point that need them less and less

>Eventually the healer is not needed making them both sad and proud

Also said that the characters were like this

>Tanks are the straight A-Students that's a shoe in for college

>DPS are the middle child with a lot to prove. Determined but going to screw up from time to time.

>Healers are literally parents/babysitters

Has anyone here spotted that trend while playing MMO's?

 No.14811

>>14805

In my experience:

>Tank

Person who expects to be a slow learner. Doesn't feel they'll be able to avoid enough damage to do support roles effectively. Good players who choose this are confident and fun to be with and tend to run things.

>DPS

Two types - the guy who picked it to do huge AoEs to level easier and get more money, and the guy who's a compulsive min/maxer who loves to eke out every tenth of a percent increase. The former may or may not be a shitter and always tends to do things alone or from a distance. The latter tends to be overconfident, but good players of that sort tend to be more smart than obsessive.

>Support

People who go 'healer' often do because they just suck at the game and want other people to do all the work while they top off health bars. Being good at healing doesn't require much thought. Other passive buffing types are often the same, very boring role for dull people. Active support players (e.g. crowd control) are rare if not paired with some tankiness or damage class but they tend to understand what they get themselves into.

FarCry 4 is amazing.

So you're saying that MMO's cater to the ABDL demographic with Healers being the caregivers and Tanks and DPS being the babies?

There was one on TERA many years ago, it only lasted about a week or two, but it was great.

I have my old PS2 and PS1 games.

I've tried the 'New Generation' gaming - Wii U - X-Box One - not the PS4 though. And I didn't like them much.

I like my Nintendo 2DS; I like playing on that when nappied.

I'm you from the future, or something. Yeah, lonely dom.

My gaming got killed a few years back with a shitty sequel that dissolved the only community I was ever a part of.

But I have a job, and spend stupid amounts of money on games, just to not play them because yeah, lack of time. That, and I suck now, from not playing all the time. That, of course, translates into dropping games like a warm turd, if it's too hard. One, maybe two game-overs and it gets shelved from lack of interest.

Here's a tip. Don't buy them.

I remember Star Trek Online had ABDL RP'ers.

 No.15001

>>14912

I remember it lasting a bit longer than a week. Some of us played gor a good 6 months. And once people drifted away from TERA a large number of them stayed in the #kindergarten channel on the squick IRC server. It's long gone now though.

 No.15003

>>15001

You think there could be another one made?

 No.15022

>>15003

I think part of the reason TERA worked so well at the time was the fact that as a game, TERA was actually kind of good so people had more in common to go on than just diapers. It was just as much about finding a group dungeon or quest with. It also had a mixture of cute and sexy races in it which made it fairly ripe for RP. I'd be all for getting another group together in TERA or another good free MMO. Free MMOs make it convenient for everyone and I'm personally too broke to get going in a paid game.

 No.15071

Still haven't done my upgrading but hopefully any day now! ….. :\

 No.15269

I would be up for it, even for another TERA group haven't played it in years.

 No.15294

>>15269

Sure thing. I have a couple characters at various levels that I'd be willing to bring out of the freezer.

I've even given the new brawler class a try a couple days ago. I've only made it to level 7 or 8 with it but so far it seems to be on par with the Berserker(Axe user) in that it has a bunch of damage skills and then a defensive skill that negates incoming damage when timed properly. Not a big fan that it forces you to be human female for that class though. I was finally in the mood to make a male character for once.

Anyway, if you want, you can get a hold of me through my email(temp address until cockmail gets their shit working again.) or my character on TERA that's still in the kindergarten guild Black.Ace. I'm in the Valley of Titan's server along with any of the previous kindergarten players that might be lurking these boards.

looks like it. Shame really

Was gonna come in here and talk about how great it is to be able to diaper up, enjoy just drinking mass amounts of water to keep hydrated while playing games.

I'm pretty into Heroes of the Storm and am a fairly high rank. It certainly is great not having to worry about bathroom breaks. ^^

>MMO's contain characters with "parental" roles

I have actually encountered this before. I remember encountering a group that had that sort of "family" dynamic where an older players acted more like a parent to the younger one's.

I was listening in on their teamspeak, too shy at the time to chat. Apparently it was meant to be a family friendly guild and some teen was getting angsty and swearing so a woman who I think she was in her 30/40's put them in "time-out" Made them take a quick break to get a drink and calm down. It was kind of awkward but seemed to work. When the kid piped up again later though he was threatened with getting tracked down for a spanking. He kind of piped down after that.

 No.17354

Just me or do a lot of /abdl/ gamers play mmo's?

 No.17364

>>17354

I'm pretty sure a lot of people in general play MMOs, hence the first M. I have started playing WoW again because friends tricked me into this, and honestly I think that's about the only MMO I'm going to be playing for a while. I just got a new desktop and I'm being blown away by all of these games that I wanted to play but couldn't because I only had a pooptop
