New photos? I thought the images we got recently were from a probe they sent out a decade ago that finally made it to Pluto and quickly shot past it. New Horizons was it? Is that probe still near Pluto?

Near is relative. But New Horizons did not send the data back to the Earth so it could take as much pics as possible when it was the nearest to Pluto.
