I know very little about international finance, but here's some stuff I would consider before making the decision:

Mechanical Engineers make pretty good money. If you're close enough to the end of your degree, how soon could you pay off the loans you would need to take?

How much money would you make with international finance? Would you need any loans to finish that degree? How many more years would it take to finish?

Which one interests you more?
