Kind of reminds me of Black Angels for some reason. Look for garage rock or psych-rock. Vibravoid, Dom Keller, stuff like that. If you can find a talented musician or group of musicians you can say "make something like this" to, it'll help.

We should set up the Halloween contest early this year. At least 2 months early so we have time to make something that isn't complete shit.

Honestly we we should have started since the start of summer, but oh well. There's also Christmas, New Years and the chinese new year which nobody bothers for.
