I think if your artist hasn't done anything for a week and he doesn't have an excuse such as "broke my arms" or "having the vacation I told you about before", then you shouldn't consider him a part of your project anymore.

Worst is I found two fucking artists while doing my search, but I had to pick one because their art-styles didn't match so I went for this girl because she was going faster and wasn't busy with some other projects. Now I can't just go back to the other one after telling her that she wasn't needed.

The artists I need are anime-style weeaboo bullshit, but I guess I'll keep waiting to see if this girl connects to Skype someday. If not I'll guess I have to look again, but it wasn't so long that I made a recruitment call and it could be really cringre worthy if I go around asking again.

This is a sketch of one of the characters for example.

I'll still wait for her to appear, at least until the end of the month, if she's still missing even after that then I'll guess I'll have to look for someone. It's a pity because I really liked her style.

Don't work with artists that you don't know or aren't paying. The same goes for the other way around or any other member of the team, I've had plenty of them flake out on me or lose interest. As have I.

It's a team effort, if you don't work as one regularly then someone's bound to lose interest. Thinking you can just appear on milestones and deliver your shit will usually not work.

Ah, so there's a mecha project and a VN project. Still not sure which project the girl with the hat belongs to since there are more than 2 different IDs.

I prefer to be a ghost artist, meaning besides gamejam games I don't do my own character design. I am, however, capable of finishing and expanding upon other character designs without deviating from the original model, due to my experience making HCGs.

You can send me your project descriptions to the email I typed in this field.

Not asking for compensation (though eventual paypal donations towards my own projects would be appreciated), I just want the few 8ch devs to succeed.
