I got a large phone with a stylus and started painting and stuff in that, and it actually works pretty decently. I've been using Splashtop too and other apps to use it on my PC which, while ghetto, works pretty nice

i am by no means an artist but this has gotten me started and producing pretty easy and good results. I like getting baked and drawing space stuff

Back in the day, I used MS-Paint and mostly used the line tool. Used a mouse.

Now I use Photoshop and use line tool + polygonal lasso. I mostly do it using a laptop trackpad.

In terms of 2D, I can do anything from atari graphics to photorealistic paintings, but these days I'm mostly into figuring out 3D modeling, which I am far from mastering.

It's funny that people always bitch about pixel art. If you're game is going to be low resolution, you're probably going to be working with 32x32 tiles or something along that line. There's only so much you can do without being literally god.

There's "retro" graphics, actual retro graphics that work with the same limitations, and there is low resolution tile graphics. Take your pick.
